Title: Animenext Convention!

^^ Im planning on going to AnimeNext this June. My first convention w00t! And its not far away, its in Secaucus NJ, June 18-20. Anyone else going? I heard the guy that does the voice of Joey Wheeler and the guy that does the voice of Duke Devlin of Yu-Gi-Oh are gunna be there, yeah! XD Im trying to get my good friend Christine to come, she's just getting into anime :)
Im want to cosplay while Im there and try and make one for my friend so thats going to be hard >_> still dont know who im going as..
Anyway! Anyone here going?

on the topic of yugi oh why not go as yami yugi? he has a nice and easy costume.

hm..interesting idea ^^ ill have to think about that, but the hair would be a pain to do >_>
I was thinking of going as Kagome from Inuyasha, or maybe Sakura from Naruto, or >_> i don't know.. :blink:

well it really just depends on what you can do. you could do yu-gi-oh if you really wanted to, not saying it won't take a while but , you can do it. just have fun with it :D

group costumes are fun. When I did Yugi I didn't use a wig- used egg. I thought if kids can do mohawks and defy gravity I can too.... well we got up at 4 Pan~pan and Tychou did my hair - took forever... Let's just say I've discovered the joys of wigs. lol

Chi from Chobits! XD I already bought this REALLY nice pair of ears for only $15.00. Now Im just looking for a wig, then I have to get to work on the costume, but I still got til June XD

Great! and also if you need help on some ideas with her costume you could look in last months newtype mag, there where two cosplayers dressed as chi and her sister. it was nice :)

XD Ill be nervous to meet people there, since everyone I meet on the internet is usually older then me, I feel so young compared to everyone else

Ahhhh...well we only have 5 years difference...not that big of a deal. I'd love to meet a fellow anime fan! Let me know when you've got it all squared away so I can ask my aunt and uncle if I can stay with them for the convention(they live near there). I'll know what days to ask for off from work too.
