YaOiGiRl - February 2, 2004 06:50 AM (GMT)
So, how many real Bishie's have you seen in RL?!
I saw this one really hot Asian (90% sure he was Japanese) at the Mall. He had on this grey sweater and tight pants, longish hair that covered his eyes with bleach streaks. But he was with his g/f! Ewww!
No-Chan-San - February 3, 2004 03:26 AM (GMT)

I met one once, but he turned out to be a moron. He knew he was bishie and played all the girls in our class. He had long black hair, deep green eyes, and tottaly a tomahome with the so in to himself. It was sad.
tYCHou - February 6, 2004 08:05 PM (GMT)
LOL. No, it wasn't P-Chan. We all love P-Chan here *hugs*

At my art college, during my first quarter in one of my classes, there was this one guy who I thought was really hot. He had a rugged look to him, with brown hair that went down to his shoulders, and a goutee (or was it a vandike) he a small beard- which looked really good. He had really nice facial features (which probably why the beard looked so good). But he was really hot, total bishi with facial hair ^_^ I don't think he realized that he was a bishi, though, he seemed to be rather quiet, but he was really good with the computers, from what I've seen of his projects in class.

At my old school, a lot of guys thought they were, but they certaintly weren't. (I doubt they even know what the word means. <_< ) And one guy would try to pinch all the girls cheeks. Until my friend tries to attack him for it. I never seen a real one. Only anime.

See...the thing about it is...people who are "bishounen" in real life, are the ones that people make fun of because they are too girly. If you were walking down the street and saw some guy in his mid 20s who looked like a 12 year old girl, you would laugh at him. Best leave it in the Cartoons. :ph43r:
Yukino-sama - July 9, 2004 05:15 AM (GMT)
Not really, you know that not ALL bishounen has long hair... some have short hair...
P-chan - July 9, 2004 05:24 AM (GMT)
But they still look like little girls...That is the whole purpose of a Bishounen. To be too Pretty to be a guy. :ph43r:
Topazora - July 31, 2004 06:01 AM (GMT)
Not in particulary, bishonoen (spelling ?) is a matter of perspective- "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" I've seen girls go crazy over guys that they thought bishi and I wonder why.... If bishonoen did mean "too pretty to be a guy" then how the hell did Vegeta get in the bishi catagory!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry, Vegeta may be bad ass, but he ain't pretty!!
Um.... anyway... the Japanese definition of bishonoen probably does mean "pretty boy" but to some of us, it simply means: very handsom, very attractive. So, in conclusion, there are some guys in real life that I see as bishonoen. Remember, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what you see as beautiful I may see as not.

There were these three guys that I saw at me school that you could consider bisheounen- asian. One was Phillino, he had thick, black hair that went down to his shoulders, he was short and thin. The other one I think was chinese, I'm sure, but he had really long black hair in a pony tale, pretty thin (but he smokes). And the third one was Tiawanese, actually, I just liked his hair, but he was still pretty cute, I would have totally flirted with him, except had he flirted back I would not have understood a word he said, he had a thick chinese accent. All these guys I was friendly with, I would have flirted with the first one had he been a bit thicker and older. The second, I would go out with had he been thicker and didn't smoke. Hey, I got my standards, I don't really care for skinny guys, I like them beefy. I'm so picky, even with bisheounen.... sigh...... And these guys were not the type to know they were bishi.

Heh. I know a guy that certainly thinks he's bishounen. Has the flowing blonde hair and terminal angst and all. Of course, he also wears skintight leather pants and declares himself God's gift to music and women (and men if they want to play too.) It's scary, because everytime I see him from the back, I wonder who the chick is who joined our orchhesta, until he turns around and we know the truth. Aah!

I'm sure of this...somewhere...the bishies are hiding! We HAVE to find them if we don't...umm...uh...THEY MIGHT DIE! Or worse...THEY MIGHT BE TAKEN! Wait a sec...no dieings worse... RUN BISHIES!!!!!!! RUN TO MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *laughs crazily then passes out*

Ok, I have to bring this subject back, cuz there is another bishi I have a total crush on at the school I used to go to. This is soooo awesome!!!!!! I found more bishis at my art school who are either is game design or animation, then I have at my public school. I'm bishi geeks - this is great!!!! But there is that one that I'm totally crushing on, he's half chinese and norwegian, and he's growing out his black hair ( damn, I have thing for inky black hair ). He's a bit meaty, but that's ok, I prefer meat or over bones. What's cool, I'm pretty friendly with him, but I'm a bit more friendly with his friends, but its all cool, I have him on myspace.
Mishi - February 23, 2007 03:52 AM (GMT)
Lucky you. The only real life bishis I can think of are Gackt and his ilk, and David Bowie. And David Bowie's getting old.
Although he was damn fine in Labyrinth.
