Title: Stupid Question
Description: Im gonna get my head bitten off for this
hanyou-kagome - October 25, 2003 09:45 PM (GMT)
ok Nie-chan........question about the rules........now please please don't hurt me but.......
4. No oneliners. Contribute with a little more than ‘I agree.’, ‘Sure’, or ‘yes’. You get the idea.
what about on games? and one really long word like AHHHHH with the H's goin on forever....well not forever, but you get the point, do those count as oneliners? just wondering.......cause I'm bored and have nothing better to do, but question the rules.....haha :P
P-chan - October 25, 2003 09:53 PM (GMT)
I am going to throw in a guess for this one...I am pretty sure that in the games, it's ok to have a one work answer...especially on the games that require a one word answer (or a 4 word answer), but on other topics...it's not ok...not even a really long word...like AHHHHHHH... unless maybe it is accompanied by other actual words that are more than one line.
Hmm...maybe I should go and actually read these..."Rules" :ph43r:
P-chan - October 26, 2003 04:30 AM (GMT)
I was able to type about 30 wpm with my nose at one point in time :) :ph43r:
QAer - October 26, 2003 01:30 AM (GMT)
Again I apologize if I sound like I am of any authority.
Well, unless my brain has stopped working I have noticed that you get no post count raise for posting in the RP section. So I believe that would mean it wouldn't hurt to do a one liner there. And things like Word association and 4 word story one liners (which means 1 sentence) would be alright. However in any other type of topic or place that raises post count it would count as a one liner which according to the rules is bad.
P-chan - October 26, 2003 01:38 AM (GMT)
Yeah...the Femmes removed the post count from the RP section, good thing too...if they didn't then there would be some people with A LOT of posts :) :ph43r:
nie-chan - October 26, 2003 03:51 AM (GMT)
very observant QAer......ususally we have to tell people that.
*wipes tears from eyes* you guys are so good. I'm so proud.
So the answer is-- Yes, what they said.
Don't worry we won't kill you for asking questions. You ask questions to learn more and to understand. So no worries.
QAer - October 26, 2003 04:00 AM (GMT)
*puts down large axe* Aww, can't I just cut off a finger? It's not like anyone will miss it.
*spray paint edits the above post*
usu@ally (minus the @ sign.. Just had to cross out the extra s)
]0/-/34]2 teh spelling police lol.
nie-chan - October 26, 2003 04:24 AM (GMT)
what? I did? oh crap! I did! That is what I get for being in a hurry and plus my fingers are kinda numb...but they're warming up now.... I'm starting to feel the heater
*grumbles* that is what I get for asking for colder weather to wear my new jacket...*end grumble*
woo-hoo I have a real life spell checker... Hey would you spell check a sentence like this?
"eye went to the store and their was no argento soma four me."
:D just curious
And to get this back on topic......
No, no chopping of fingers because she asked a question. She needs her fingers to type....unless she learned to use her toes for that, then we could talk. ;)
QAer - October 26, 2003 04:31 AM (GMT)
The spell check is just an addition to answering questions is just like an anti-spam system you get with your ISP, it has it's limits far under those of proffesional spell checking.
I'm gonna try to do that toe thing
this is a test
lol! I really did do all of the above sentence with my toes. It only took 3 minutes!
nie-chan - October 26, 2003 04:35 AM (GMT)
wow?! really?! Or are you lying to me...... hmmm...
oh! When I worked at the casino I saw a lady that used her toes to play craps....I don't think that is spelled right for the game, is it? But it wasn't out of fun....she didn't have arms. But if I remember correctly she won quite a bit of money.
Yeah, I'm not going to even test typing with my toes, they're bundled up right now to stay warm.
P-chan - October 26, 2003 04:42 AM (GMT)
There was this one guy...I don't remember his name, but he played a perfect game of Billiards...with no arms. He had one of those arch things on the table and he help the cue in his teeth. :ph43r:
QAer - October 26, 2003 04:47 AM (GMT)
Believe it or not I did it. Although I can't use the shift button with my feet because I had problems keeping my leg from dropping. It's easy to tell the diffrence between it and my normal typing from my point of view.
Wow, playing casino games with your toes. I'm not certain I trust my feet nor toes to do anything that complex with them yet.
(typing with my toes not using the backspace button below)
yyyt65hhis is a t e st
(backspace was used alot last time)
"this is a test"
nie-chan - October 26, 2003 04:56 AM (GMT)
ok...I'm taking a chance... I believe you. I'm really gulible (is that spelled right?) so I always have to go "no you didn't... really did you?"
yeah....
P-chan - October 26, 2003 04:58 AM (GMT)
I would try to type something with my toes...but I'm at work and my boss already things I'm wierd enough.
Guess I could try with my nose again...Here we go. With a timer.
this is as test./
OOH!!! 27 seconds...with only two errors...Stupid big nose ;) :ph43r:
kitsune_yurei - October 26, 2003 05:01 AM (GMT)
I used to be able to type with my head...i was in 3rd grade and could only do one finger typing.
nie-chan - October 26, 2003 05:04 AM (GMT)
 boy are we off-topic or what?! lol and I'm the one that typed and posted the rules! ...but this is a great example about how the topic situation gets tricky cause we're replying to the post above us......
:o *crawls under her desk* I'm setting a bad example!! :(
hanyou-kagome - October 26, 2003 07:05 PM (GMT)
actually I can type with my toes, my nose, and my chin! and of course fingers, my friend can type with her elbows, I've never tried it, maybe I should right now
yhi8
without using backspace!! haha! hi! ok, I'm a freak, anyways, like I said, I just got sooo bored yesterday, I hate being sick :(, so I had to do something, and like I say The rules were meant to be questioned, if not broken. cause lately my school has been throwing REALLY stupid rules at us, so naturally, its a habit! plus I've gotten many pettions signed, and many rules repealled.... :D I'm a sneaky little devil, ain't I?
BTW.....QAer, put the axe down man....you could seriously poke somebody's eye out with that thing!
Siri - October 27, 2003 01:19 AM (GMT)
HK...I think that's his purpose...*hides behind HK.* take her ...not me!! anywhoos...yea our school is really gay. I hate their rules...like no PDA. I understand not MO at school..(MO=Making out...for those who don't know.) BUT I CAN'T HUG MY BF!! It sux...and if they catch me hugging him once more..(i've been caught twice already.) they'll write me up and give me Saturday D-Hall!!!
stinkin' teachers....HUGGING!! What is soooo wrong with hugging? how did hugging ever hurt anyone....sorry...i'll stop now....*end of rant*
P-chan - October 28, 2003 09:53 PM (GMT)
OK...even that is a little extreme...I see nothing wrong with giving someone a hug when you are separating to go to class...as long as it is not a super-extended-rubbing-each-others-ass type hug. Then it's a little annoying :) :ph43r:
hanyou-kagome - October 28, 2003 11:52 PM (GMT)
a little annoying? gosh try having the touchy touchy couple right in front of your locker! while their all hugging and rubbing and moaning and saying "ok see ya later, luv ya....mmmmm..........." I'm standing there going, I'll give ya till the count of three till I knock you and your sorry boyfriend who can't keep a C average in half his classes to the ground
Siri - October 28, 2003 11:58 PM (GMT)
HK...I think I know who you're talking about...stinkin' people...locker's right above mine....Yea. My boyfriend and I do quick hugs before class...although I don't mind the butt-grabbing- hugs.... :ph43r: ! but shhh...you didn't hear that from me. And sorry to get off topic...but...do you realize I like the '.' alot? i mean I constantly do this..... did ya notice that? weird...anywhoos, back on topic. EVIL STINKIN' TEACHERS...

hanyou-kagome - October 30, 2003 02:28 AM (GMT)

Suki_kitty - February 14, 2004 06:27 PM (GMT)
Is it just me, or do a lot of people here like to continue topics that haven't been posted on for two months?
arina takki - February 17, 2004 04:01 PM (GMT)

Suki_kitty - February 17, 2004 09:31 PM (GMT)
nie-chan - February 17, 2004 10:01 PM (GMT)
They may be new and want to contribute. Just because you've already said your two cents and don't have anything else to say doesn't mean no one else does.
If the topic isn't closed then ANYONE can post there, no matter when the last post was.
