Having just returned from the Orange Anime One Year Anniversary in Orlando, I must report that I have seen some pretty messed up things. I'll start with the two most messed up...

Live Action "Battle Royale"= Very, very, very messed up. In the future, as a means of mass entertainment, the Japanese Government randomly selects one class of high schoolers, drags them out to an island and forces them... TO KILL EACH OTHER. The last one standing gets to leave. If they don't comply, their teacher blows up the collar attached to their throat. As screwed up as it sounds it was actually pretty funny, as they were all randomly assigned weapons ranging from A Paper fan or Pot Lid too a Katana or an Uzi. The one guy in the group who actually took the game seriously (read as The Psychopath) ended up with the Paper Fan, so he jumped one of the kids with Uzi's, killed him, stole the Uzi, and immediately gunned down about 10 of his friends, but couldn't hit the broad side of a 747 from five feet away throughout the rest of the movie.

Live Action Sailor Moon= Do I even need to explain this one?

I have seen the live action of Fist of the North Star. they completely removed the main bad guy, Raul, and tried to keep the story the same...and I STILL enjoyed it.


and I am going to have to check out that Battle Royale, it sounds pretty cool...is the anime essentially the same? :ph43r:

Everything "Battle Royale" was based off of the Movie.
So basically the movie came first, then everyhing else. I've heard that the Manga is basically the same, but I haven't had a chance to check it out.

If you want a seriously messed up Manga though, may I recommend "Island".
It has sexually crazed demons, psychopathic killers, crossdressing assassins, demon gods, murderous skulls, insane monks, heaps upon heaps of brutal violence, and did I mention sexually crazed demons?

Ewww....thanks, but I guess I'll stay away from that one. Well, if you guys want something a bit cleaner that still makes you go "What the crap was that about?" Try Windaria. It's totally random and has no point. I think most of the Fems hated it and I wanna see it again!

Well...I will try out this 'Island'


and complete randomness is always a good thing as well...So I guess I will just have to find Windaria and watch it. If only I could find someone who could borrow it to me...*hopefull look* :ph43r:

Not to my knowledge.
I heard the guy who made it got busted from possession of "illegal substances" and that's why they only made two episodes.
Kinda explains a few things don't it?
