I voted no, mainly cause his ego's huge, and he thinks he's so great. Also he was a complete ass to Sam when Sam was trying to warn him that Loki may be re-emerging. Here Sam is trying to do something good for Gaia, and there's Jake, treating Sam like some paranoid idot, and being a complete ass.

You also have to consider the guy thing though. Girls think about what Sam was doing, but guys think he's just trying to get to Gaia. They as in all guys, do not see anything like girls do.

You could see it like that. But that doesn't make it any better in my eyes. It makes Jake territorial and possesive. Its like he's saying, Gaia's mine, hands off. Personally I don't like possesive guys, cause they get paraniod, and jealous. They end up alienating the person they're trying to protect.

I voted no, he's an ass. Cuz of what Domino said mainly. He has a big ego, a small brain, and he only likes Gaia because she's "Hot" as he said in #32. He was being bitchy to Sam, who has been through much more than Gaia than Jake.

What Jake doesn't appreciate is that Sam and Gaia's relationship is complicated, and there are still some issues between them that need to be resolved. The key word is need. Jake also doesn't appreciate the danger Loki posses. He hasn't seen the dark side of Oliver, he hasn't been through what Sam's been through. Thus its something he doesn't understand, nor is he willing to understand it.

I said no because he knows he's all that and it makes him unattractive! I just wanna vomit!

I hate the way he goes right up to Gaia, or just about anyone and thinks he can own them. I hate the way he shows off in front of Sam and Ed, like "look, Gaia's mine now, she didn't pick you." He just irks me in every way. The vat of grease in his hair. His black belt wearing, cocky ass self. And wait, wait, wait, I'm not done yet....I still cannot get over what Ed said, and that would be that Jake has extremely hairy calves and knees. :lol: He thinks he's invincible cause he's got his martial art skills to back him up and that's why he's different from Sam and Ed. He's wrong. And I would love to see it blow up in his face.

My Jake Rant

I think I am the one person who despises Jake the most on this website. Jake/Gaia literally makes me sick. #32 was really bad, in my opinion, because is was practically all Jake/Gaia. Jake is always saying really perverted things like: "I don't have trouble getting women" and "Gaia's so hot" and "The primary reason people go out with girls is because they are good looking" ( he did say that, somewhere in the last book) What it comes down to is the fact that Jake thinks that all girls and women are just objects( don't kill me, people) and that he can get whatever he wants out of Gaia because he gets whatever he wants out of any other girl. It makes me sick. Jake is too confident in what he can do. In #32 he lies to Oliver about Gaia's "erratic behavior", even when Oliver could kick his ass in a second(I'd love to see that) :lol: Also: the authors go out of their way describing his quote on quote "good italian looks" and they don't seem to mention any other good qualities. They just want people to like Jake because he is "Confident" "kick-ass" and good-looking". I don't think he has anything else going for him except his looks. I hope Oliver beats him up in the next book, and breaks his nose or something. He is shallow. I don't know why Gaia would, or could, fall for a guy like that. He isn't her type. Unlike Gaia/Ed, Gaia/Jake has no chemistry at all, in my opinion, mainly because Jake has no real, notable personality. He's like every other brainless, egomainiac jock. In #32, Jake mentions reading books in English class that "changed his perspective" Wow. I didn't know Jake could read. Anyway, his persepective obviously wasn't changed much, because he is still shallow. After he has a fight with Gaia in #32, and debates whether or not to break up with her, a couple hours later, Gaia apologizes, but Jake still has his doubts, and he just makes out with her anyway! Proving my theory that Jake thinks of Gaia as just another of his girlfriends. That was really long, Jake fans don't murder me, I can have opinions too, and I hope Jake and Gaia break up.
