i loved this book. ella turned good in the end before she died. this was such a good book

yeah i though it was cool the way ella pretended she was gaia to save gaia's life. it's been so long since i read that book. it brings back memories...

Its one of my favorites. I've read this one so many times. I especially like the end.

The first part of the book was kind of frustrating cause they have those misunderstandings. But the ending was great. :bounce:

I hated Ella nomatter what. She freakin slept with Sam and ruined the whole Gaia's first kiss thing..it was horrible.
But what did happen to the money in her Alphabeet City shack?
But the ending was so great!!!!!!!!
i had to go thru 12 books before Sam and Gaia really got together and remembered it. But it was so worth it!!!!! :) :) :)
And to all Jake fans......that's how it's supposed to be. A pursuit of love, and then a big climax, and then lovey-dovey stuff for the next few books (then they break up, but in hearts of true sam fans, they've always been together, right?), not the crappy rebound style love affair that happened because Ed broke up with her and whatnot. <_< :rolleyes:

Yup that's how its supposed to be. And all the true Sam fans can always hope that they will end up together. Hey the story hasn't ended yet. There's still time. :)

not all love is the ideal persuit and climax stuff. because gaia is not the ideal girl and i did like 12 alot and i'll even admit it i was a sam fan before he "died" i even cried while i read the part where he got shot. but i mouned his "death" and moved on. and when jake cam along i new he would be better for gaia because like she said it herself. jake was the only guy who had ever understood her.

Its not that Gaia isn't an ideal girl. Its the fact that she wants to be a normal ideal girl that matters.

and how long has she known Jake? How long has she known sam and Ed?
it just work for me, but that's just me. :)
And even if it ends with her and somebody not sam or Ed ( like Jake :angry: )
I'm still gonna re-read all the books that i did like with sam and ed in them. :)

yea true she hasn't known jake very long, but he's pretty much provin to her that he's trustworthy and worthy of her. and about the she wants to be normal. look where that got her. it got her ex in a hospital bed dying. i'm not saying wanting to be normal is bad i'm just saying with gaia its not such a great idea. because yea the rodkes were right u can change what u want about u, but isn't the oriinal thing always the best? doesn't someones natrral brown hair complent their face? don't origainl thing work best? in this case don't u think mabey being fearless has a point?

She wants to be normal because we always want what we can't have. But if you look at some of her relationships, over all they were pretty normal relationships that anyone would have. The best girl-friend (mary), the crush and first love(sam), the other best friend (ed), the person you love to hate cause their self-centered (heather), and the new guy (jake). Her relationships that she has with her peers are usually normal, its the events that happen in her relationships that make them abnormal. Does that make sense?

yeah but raquel how many times has she said he's the only guy that understands me or something like that? It seems to me that she's said something like that about Sam, Ed, and Jake. I don't think she knows who she likes the most at this moment. She's 100% confused.

FP had to make Gaia have normal relationships so that people could relate to her. Otherwise we'd read it, going :huh: all the way through.

i think that even though gaia thinks she aint normal. she is..i mean she has all the boyfirend problems a girl can have . and she has her fair amoutn of fmaily problems that a normal family can have. she is normal but she jus sometimes happens 2 get in2 abnormal things. juts because she is fearless doesn't me she aint normal..like she says its a disability..and mjority of people do have disabilities.so she fits rite in. but she has just got usued to thinking that she aint normal dat she thinks its the truth. u get me

but Ed actually had a disability and he didn't go around whining about how he wanted out of the chair, for the most part anyway. I think that a part of Gaia didn't want the relationships to work because nothing else in her life did. She could have patched things up with Sam on her own, not wait for him to take the initiative. The thing with Ed could have been fixed, no doubt about it. She just needed to give it some more effort.

Gaia always accuses people of being so predictable and cowardly, but she kinda is too. As much as she doesn't know it, she's kinda like everyone else. She doesn't need to have fear. She just needs (Dr.Feldman's favorite word---read 14, it's Ed's doc) faith in the idea that some things can't be resolved (her screwed up life), but that doesn't have to effect her life (or relationship--with Sam, or friendship w/ Ed), if she doesn't let it.

The way everything ended with Ed was so weird because it could have been fixed by just an explanation!

Anyway, I don't blame you for reading all the old ones again. I do too, but I don't have any of them, I just check it out from the library again. I wonder if they notice that i always have the same books. Besides, it's not my fault, the library has run out of books and they don't even have all of them. That's why i haven't read all them...( MIA--22,23,24,29,30, and GA)

But did you really shell out all that cash for all 30 or so books? that's like $180, unless you live in Canada, then it's even more..wow.

oh, and it's is so true that Ed and Gaia could have made up. She may still LOVE Sam (hopefully, and will soon profess her undying passion for him) or had feelings for him in 25 and 26, but she didn't almost kiss him while she was drunk and wasted with a slutty Tatiana who doesn't know when to keep her hands off of Gaia's men. Not like Ed. But I still live Ed.

But it's true. That's when Jake had to jump in and say " Are you OK?" "Let the big, ugly, meathead-y, oohh I can do karate too Jake save the day". URGH. Just when I thought that I hated Jake a little less.

i reread this book. each time ella dies i feel like i'm about to cry. i just loved ella, even when she was bad

Killer is without a doubt in my top five favorite Fearless books list. Even though I always hated Ella (especially after she slept with Sam!!!) you kind of get to see a different side of her in this one, once all the make up comes off. But I never cried because she died. I thought it was kind of weird that Gaia felt so badly for her, because Ella made her life a living hell for such a long time, and I don't think I could ever forgive someone so easily for something like that. But the most important thing in this book? Sam and Gaia. :D I thought it was such a long time coming, I didn't even think it was possible for them to ever be together...but they finally kissed and remembered that they kissed. It was so sweet and cute how it ended. I could go on forever about Killer.

I was found Ella interesting. This was one of my favorite ones. It was kidna nice to see she wasn't JUST a bitch, but an ok person too that was just misguided. Ella was always one of my favorite characters. Kinda wish she could've stuck around longer :(
