Title: Spoilerish Stuff About the show

nance - August 27, 2003 10:22 PM (GMT)
-Gaia is 23

-She lives with her Godparents- Frank and Nikki... apparently, Tom left Gaia

-The pilot:

It's Gaia's first day on her job as an FBI agent in the Y Unit. Her boss is Frank and the team goes undercover to blend in as criminal to catch the bad guys.

Gaia and her partners team up with Jordan Gracie (who is a crook) to go after an identity theft ring, which it turns out is run by Jordan's father, Jordan Senior. Jordan wants him behind bars to protect himself and his sickly mother, who have tried to leave Jordan Sr. unsuccessfully in the past.

Gaia and Jordan kiss in the pilot.

That's so weird.

"They're cool with it"?? Huh??

Domino - August 29, 2003 01:48 AM (GMT)
Well the Harmony character says something like "wow, I have questions." Then the Ryan character says something link, "boo, just checking." I was like, "That's dumb"

FGaia13 - August 29, 2003 01:58 AM (GMT)
I dont' know it's pretty freaky, but I really can't understand the fact (like many others...?) that it's produced in LA.

athena - November 26, 2003 03:08 AM (GMT)

Review:

FEARLESS pilot review

by David Blackwell

FEARLESS is a mess. No wonder the show was pulled to be reworked. The pilot lacks focus. It needs to be reworked in so many ways. I think they should just write a new and better pilot, then they should film it. First, the narration from Gaia needs to go. Second, it should be revealed in the course of the pilot that Gaia wasn't born without the fear gene. It shouldn't be revealed in the first minute! Third, the show should go into the concerns of what fear can bring to a FBI agent and how it affects things if a person has no fear. Shouldn't there be concerns from people that having no fear could put other agents in trouble? Shouldn't our heroine wonder what she is missing since she has no fear?

FEARLESS has some good action sequences, but the rest is a mess. The other agents not trusting the new girl because she won't reveal her secrets is just so cliche. It jsut doesn't wash with me. Other agents should trust other FBI agents as long as they do their job right , and not trust someone because they want to remain private about some things! The pilot is shallow in the character development department. It is all too much about the plot of Gaia posing as an identity broker so she can sell fake IDs to a criminal that the FBI wants to bust. The show should be more about the pyschology of a person with fear and how that may affect everything (and everyone) around her in her position as an FBI agent.

FEARLESS is loosely based on a series of Young Adult novels by Francine Pascal. In the novels, Gaia is a teenager and she doesn't work for the FBI. She has a crush on a guy named Sam, but she ends up with a guy named Ed. Basically the TV series looks like it has nothing to do with book series which is 29 plus novels.

I agree with that. I don't think Gaia should reveal her secret in the PILOT! My goodness. It should just matter that the audience knows about her fearlessness. Like in the books...only her father and such know about it. Sam doesn't know...Jake doesn't know. So why should the FBI agents know the first day they meet her?

FGaia13 - November 26, 2003 08:24 PM (GMT)
Yeah I agree with that, I mean obviously WE know since it's called Fealress duh, but that totally killed it, I mean Suspense, we wanna know when they fidn out, and oops they find out in the first episode how about that eh? Then what's the point?

hope413 - November 26, 2003 11:38 PM (GMT)
I know, it just like kills it.

Domino - November 27, 2003 01:45 AM (GMT)
I totally agree with mostly everything said in the review, except I didn't really like the fight scenes, they were too cheezy.

ilovedfargo - December 27, 2003 07:29 PM (GMT)

that's not cool. i can deal with them having gaia in there, but saying tom left because he couldnt handle it is just wrong. it spoils the series.

Domino - February 1, 2004 04:24 PM (GMT)
I know. I hated when he said that.

FGaia13 - March 28, 2004 07:46 PM (GMT)

Domino - March 28, 2004 09:44 PM (GMT)
Yeah, there were all sorts of topics, on who would be a good Sam, Ed, Mary, and Gaia.

*sweet*hello*kitty - March 31, 2004 10:20 PM (GMT)
Wow.... That plot is stupid. No wonder they never showed it.

Domino - April 1, 2004 12:27 AM (GMT)
Yeah, even my brother who doesn't read fearless, and knows nothing about the books thought it was really bad.

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 1, 2004 01:29 AM (GMT)
Maybe if they get a better cast & better writers they can get a good plot going...

hope413 - April 1, 2004 01:32 AM (GMT)
I'd really like to see the show. I mean better cast and crew and all. Because Fearless would make a pretty good TV show.

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 1, 2004 01:39 AM (GMT)
I was looking at my Sweet Valley High books for the show & thought the girls who play Jessica & Elizabeth (Brittany & Cynthia Daniels) would make a great Gaia. They're beatiful, fit & natural looking....
Almost forgot the most important BLONDE!

fearless_shaz - April 5, 2004 07:12 PM (GMT)

*sweet*hello*kitty - April 6, 2004 01:39 AM (GMT)
