Title: Fearless movie?
Description: Is there going to be one?

I heard a rumor that there is going to be a Fearless movie. I have no clue how reliable it is, but there is a link that has Francine Pascal say that she just finished a screenplay. Even if it isn't coming out yet, if she wrote it there is always the chance it could come out later. Anyone hear anything about this? The link is here: http://www.simonsays.com/content/destinati...d=357191&agid=8

O, wouldn't that be the coolest thing! I would probably see it a thousand times. This is the first that I have heard any rumor, so it's either very new or just untrue. Even if it doesn't happen, it's still fun to think about it. Thanks for the link!

This article is very old, when she was talking about that I believe it was in 2002, when she was negotiating with Warner Bros about the idea of Fearless on a screen. They eventually decided on the small screen obviously, I remember because I think I saw Shaz post a looooong time ago that she was super mad that they had even though of Britney Spears as Gaia, lol!

Omg, would she be horrible or what? I can totally not see her kicking ass! I mean have you seen her in that Toxic music video? Geez! Talk about slutty! :-P But yea, that would be cool. Thanks for the update on how old the article was, FGaia. I actually got a review for my website that asked if I could put up the script for the 'Fearless movie' and I was shocked! I needed to find out right away whether it was real! Actually, there is a movie coming out called Fearless, but it has nothing to do with the book series. It's actually starring Jet Li and is supposed to be his last movie. Doesn't look very good, actually.

It would be very cool if they did a Fearless movie. What could be the plot though? I mean, they can't exactly include all the books! Hell of a long movie! lol! Maybe they could do some flashbacks to when Gaia was a child, explain who she is within a few minutes like they did at the beginning of the Pilot episode (they did that very well, especially with that scene between Gaia and Shankman when he said she was 'acting like her father' and all that stuff. Then they could make the plot about Loki getting her DNA and kidnapping her and stuff. Organize in something about Ed (I'm an Ed fan all the way!!) and Heather and the contradiction of Sam, MAYBE. Jake would be way too much! Then her father could come and save her. That one part in....ugh what book was it? When her father comes in to save her and she was like, "One good smack of her head and Loki would go down, but it still gave Josh time to blow her father's brains all over the rotting floor." What book was that again? What does everyone else think?

Geez that was a long entry! :-D

In a perfect world, someone would make a tv mini series (or just normal series) of every book exactly how they are written. Absolutely no creative license from the producers. That would be neat. Cause it would be like reading the books, only really lazy.

fearlessgoddess2 - January 25, 2006 02:23 PM (GMT)
Yea, but they probably wouldn't do that because the books eventually run out and they would want a solid plot line too.

Fearlessgoddess, your movie plot was a good idea, but of course i would want both Sam and Ed with it.maybe some of lokis history,too.Tv-serie would be better, one episode in each books, 36 episodes, that would be two seasons.too bad anyone hadnt done it.

If there is a Fearless movie or TV series, based on the original books, Who do you think Francine could play? Perhaps Ms. Argeski, the Phys Ed teacher?

fearlessgoddess2 - January 29, 2006 03:20 AM (GMT)
Lol, nah, she struck me as young, especially when Ed said she had her hands on her 'tiny hips'. I'm not sure who she could play, but maybe, if the show gets thsi far, the old woman on the bus when Gaia tapped into her 'worldly wisdom'. :)

What does everyone think about Natalie Portman as Gaia? She looks good as a blonde, I think, and I could see her delivering a swift roundhouse to a mugger.
