Title: Avatars
Description: Help!

I have an avatar that I really wanted. I actually have a site that has some really cool ones.. I could give it if you want.. but anyway, I saved the picture to my files and tried to get it on here. It's one of Gaia, but when I tried to use it I got a page that said "error, This site does not allow that type of use for personal photos or avatar settings" or something like that. Any help!?

All I did was pick one off the internet. Saved it to my files. Then I went to the avatar settings and hit Browse, got my photos off of my folder and clicked something like "use this avatar" or whatever. I can't make avatars so I just do that. It works. The site I found my "avatars" at was

But thats where I found a lot of good ones. I can't find any for like anyone OTHER than Gaia from the old books. Like Ed or Sam. hmm.. ;)

I don't make Sam or Ed avatars, or Jake, because everyone is so confused on who portrays who. Like Some ppl think Josh Hartnett is a good Ed, but others still think that Josh is a good Jake.... it's confusing.

The people I could tell if you made an avatar is Ed and Sam. Those are, in my opinion, the best detailed in the story. I could see Sam like a prep looking college student and Ed as a skate rat. It's easy to tell who they are if someone made them

I can tell that this is a pretty darn old thread; ... Did you ever solve the problem? (I would have no idea on my own.)

If you need a program to get avatars to be accepted, I'd recommend www.irfanview.com' target='_blank'>www.irfanview.com. It can do so much in terms of image optimization. It doesn't edit, but it can blur, sharpen, resize, convert images, crop, etc. (Cropping is done by clickdragging a selection, doing Ctrl+C, then Ctrl+V, then saving that.)
