For some reason, this aspect about Gaia really annoys me. I was pretty disspointed when she was still talking about how she still believed that she can't get close to people because they'll get hurt in Kill Game. I thought that since she was grown up and more mature, maybe she would realize that she still should live life as best as she can and try not to be some loner girl.

Do you think she'll ever start thinking differently? Or is it a part of Gaia that's here to stay...

That people got hurt because they were near toGaia,that was mostly true In Fearless,although it wasnt Gaias fault,it was Lokis.Loki hurted everyone Gaias boyfriends and Mary.And maybe little Toms and Cias too,the Agengy didnt allways seem so intelligent in Fearless books,lol.(Not that i am anarchist or something,lol.) But i dont think it is true anymore,crimes happen in Fearless Fbi,was Gaia there or not.She shouldnt blame her self for being different anymore.

I always thought that that part of Gaia was annoying since it made no sense at all. They (Loki, Yuri) obviously targeted the people closest to her in order to hurt her. And then she would turn around and let go of Sam, Ed, or Jake, or someone and give them, the bad guys, what they wanted in the first place. I thought she got over this after what happened, or didn't happen, to Ed in #20 and when she finally got back together with him in #24. Maybe Gaia is just refusing to believe that she's the reason she's always lonely and alone.

That's a really good idea. She's just trying to make excuses for why she's alone...

I dont know..is she? That was pretty much true Fearless,look Mary,Sam,Jake...But that was Loki whole time.Maybe she should have stopped him before,turn over CIA,kick his ass or kill him.Didnt Gaia try to kill Loki, but failedwas that in book 21?
It is weird,i read about psychopaths,mostly their victim dont defend themself, because they are too afraid,and dont get that someone could that cruel,they are too naive and belief their lies,sociopaths talk black to white,or how itgoes? But Gaia was fearless and his father teach her martial arts and probably told about psychopaths too.
But now in new series she should try to trust other people,and be happy with someone,Loki si gone.

I think Gaia is being vulnerable right now, since she kissed Will, she doesn't have her guard on as usual, since she kind of did stay out of proble for a while.

yeah, that's what I was thinking. Why would Loki have bothered with Mary, Jake, Sam, ect. if it wasn't for Gaia? No reason that I can see. So she kinda had a point then. But you guys are right about the FBI series. Maybe she doesn't trust that Loki will drop it and that he will come back anyway? I don't know, some people's brains aren't worth examing too closely.
