hey Im really interested in design and what you guys make is often really amazing. I was just wondering what computer programs you use to make like you avaters and like stuff. I've been trying to make some stuff but i don't think macromedia firework is that good

so i was wondering what you people use

I use Adobe Photoshop 7. My bro downloaded it free for me (its illegal, but thats alright ^_^ ) and it works really well. There are also a lot of downloadable brushes on the net that are compatible with PS 7. I know other people use Paint Shop Pro, but I don't have experience with that program.

I use PS 7 as well, and they say that PSP is good for begginers, but just not as good as Photoshop, since the difference of the programs if about a couple hundred dollars.

I used Adobe Photo shop, along with Microsoft picture it, Microsoft picture it was really good for me to begin in, because its really straight forward, but there's a lot of things you can do with photo shop that you can't do with Microsoft. I still use both though. =P

I use photoshop 8.

adobe sounds good...but damn it not on my comp and only on my moms cept wedon't have the disk cuz i think someone else dled for us when they fixed our comp... and i tried to burn it to a CD and send it over but the CD is too small... and my mom's comp is so slow every time i do anything... like i tried to open it the other day took like 5 mins... but i was doing a bunch of other stuff at the same time so...
