I only recently started watching Joan of Arcadia, and now I'm totally obsessed with it. A lot of people automatically assume that it's a religious show, and yeah it's got religious undertones and morals and whatnot, but I'm not a a religious perosn by nature. I think just think the show was interesting because Joan isn't really a believer but her encounters with these people who God speaks through force her to think not about religion but people. And her friends and boyfriend (now ex) are funny and so much deeper than the characters on like the WB and the OC. (I watch some of those shows too but you know what I mean..:) ). Joan of Arcadia is such a great show..!!! The actors and her friends, like Grace and Adam and even Friedman, have their issues, but THEY CAN ACTUALLY ACT. And unlike a lot of other shows, they actually seem like you could go a high school and find those people--they don't look perfect. Some might say they look a little nerdy. And I've just been ranting....because CBS cancelled Joan today..so I just wanted to see if any of you guys out there have seen it.

I have seen it,i love it,too.Its sort of My so called live to mixed with God thing,it is really good.First season just ended here in Finland.

I never even got to see the first season!! But it's out on DVD now. I read that Adam and Joan get together and they play Howie Day's "Collide" and I bet that was so cute. I've never seen My so Called Life...heard of it obviously, since it was popular but then ABC cancelled it. But I think that would be a show I would like. I am still in shock that it's over(Joan, I mean).

My so called life was Canadian youth serie,that you might likecanceled ,because it did discribed normal looking teenagers,normal life,not perfect beautiful.I think it is on DVD too.Yeah,that really sucks that they cancelled Joan,it was really good,normal teenagers,except that God part,which was interesting.But i can still wacth the second season.
By the way,if I should imagined what Ed would look like,I think he look a lot like that Kevin actor.

Really? I don't like Kevin...well you haven't seen the second season..but I think he's kind of annoying. But I would never have imagined Ed to be like him..other than the wheelchair connection. I think Ed would be more charming...Kevin doesn't strike me as charming...or cute, like Ed seems to be. But Joan is an awesome show...Did you ever see "Jump"? That's the episode when Joan and Adam get together. I wanna see it so bad. I need to get the DVD.

They took it of the air months ago after season 1 ended where i live. Really want to know what happens in season 2.

The total number of Joan episodes I saw is probably like ten and they all come from the second season. If you want to know what happens, or get an idea of what the episodes were about you can go to tvtome.com and search "Joan of Arcadia".

Joan of Arcadia seems to have third in season going on in cbs,that what say in Cbs joan page.

Why would you think that? I went onto CBS.com and their page for Joan of Arcadia doesn't even exist anymore. Sadly. :(

They're messing up everything!!! Now that Joan is gone, I don't have anything to watch on Friday nights...and that also means that any quality television shows with good acting has also gone down the drain. I'm so sad. I think I want to get the Season 1 DVD of Joan. I just wish they could have had a real series finale, at the very least. You haven't seen the second season right?

Not yet,it begins in August here, Iguess.I would like to see Joan dvd,too,but I think it is american coded,region one,you cant wacth it in Europe,or can you? not with my comp,at least,I think.I didnt find joan page either,last time i checked.

I don't know, seeing as how I can barely work my own DVD player much less one in another country..but, hey, you never know.

And I saw two episodes of My So-Called Life on VHS from the library and I am now in love with that show...It's like every show I watch gets cancelled though...and now I'm watching My So-called Life which was cancelled like ten years ago. So now that I'm getting addicted to that, Ive been reading up on it and I can't imagine Angela with Brian...but I guess something bad happens between her and Jordan?? I only saw the pilot and the Christmas episode...and Joan is supposed to be on tonight, but CBS might just disappoint me again. :(
