Title: More abot Spoiler fonts
Description: if you want to make your own

EddieBear2004 - March 15, 2005 12:43 PM (GMT)
oldkingclothes (sorry if i got the sn wrong) sent me something about how to make your own spoiler fonts for different colors at your own site and he requested that I post the pm on ff, so here is it:
... Ah. Well, Marie, ... right now, this looks pretty much like the standard Invisionboard skin. I'm not quite sure what the spoiler font color would be, but a safe bet would be simply, white. ( )

Until you guys get a skin that you'd like, stick with the white font color. When you get a skin you'd like to stick with, contact me again. Remember, my AIM name is BH4 PZC (Don't ask. )

Also, in case you'd like to learn how to do this on your own, it involves taking a screenshot of the area where your post will appear, (Basically, take a screenshot using the prntscreen button at the top of the keyboard) then go into MSPaint, and do a Ctrl+V to paste it. Use the dropper tool, and left-click on the background of the text. Now go to one of the menus up top, (Forgot where it is. X_X ) and go to the color selector screen, where you see the rainbow of colors and the slide bars. Take a look at the six numbers in the lower right area. Copy them down to a piece of paper. (And the labels to their left.) ... The column closer to the right is the side you want to copy down.

Then, acquire a "Hex Calculator" program somewhere. Just google "Hex Calculator" somewhere in Google. Hex, by the way, is a way of counting which involves the letters "A" through "F" as extensions of 9, 10, 11, etc. 0 is 1, 1 is 2, 9 is 10, A is 11, F is 16. Then you just add another digit or something like that. Blah. The hex calculator should do most of the work. @_@

So input each of the values (one at a time) into the hex calculator in the DECIMAL mode, then convert it to hex. Then write THAT number down, and place it next to, but very distinguishable from, the original red/green/blue (RGB) value. Do that for all 3 numbers you got from the eyedropper tool.

Then, when you have all 3 values, (They -should- be two digits each.) you're ready to put them together. Do the " [color=] thing, but put a # after the =. Then, add the first value from the red in, then the green, then the blue, so you have " [color=#3A5BFF] or something like that. (And the closed color tag.) It -should- work.

If it doesn't work, or you'd like me to go through it with you step by step, please don't be afraid to make a public thread about it or something. I would be more than happy to do so with such lovely people like yourselves.

And I'm sorry I'm not around as much anymore. College work is increasing dramatically as of late

is this for making your font have whatever color you want? cuz if it is, there's this thing on adobe photoshop where you can just double-click the color and then this window pops up with the numbers for the color on the internet.
that's how i got this color
