Can anyone tell me what happened in last night's episode? I was at a school dance...

This isn't in order. It's easier for me to go by character.

ok, marissa mom came back from wherever she was, and kinda forced marissa to have diner with her. They talked and her mom told her that she was going to continue playing the happy family, and try to get some money from him before she ditches him, and tells marissa to go along with it. after the horrible time w/her mom, she finds Alex, and they kinda end up on a date. They sit on the beach of a while and kiss. end of the marissa section.

ryan tries to apologize to Caleb, because lindsey is making him. caleb insults him for a while. later, he comes back and makes a bet with him. If he (ryan) wins a pool game (when ryan tried to apologize, caleb was playing pool), caleb has to accept ryan as lindsey's boyfriend. if caleb wins, ryan agrees to stay out of caleb's way. ryan wins. caleb isn't really happy about it. he decides that instead of going out with lindsey, as planned, to let lindsey and caleb hang.

seth, zach, and summer all go to whenever it was for the comic thing. seth gets really nervous. when it's time for him to present the comic, he ends up talking about a love story between the guy based on himself and the girl based on summer (he had way too much coffee) being involved with the comic, which was not agreed upon. They don't get signed. Seth goes home on the bus, and summer and zch stay in the hotel. when seth tries to call summer, summer doesn't answer and tells zach it was no one important.

sandy and kirsten eventually make up after she gives him a little cold shoulder and agree to make plans. he removes himself from rebecca's case to please kirsten. while sandy and rebecca's dad are talking, sandy goes to get him some tea and when he comes back, her dad is dead. rebecca calls to say goodbye, about the time kirsten is all dressed up and ready to go out. she tells sandy to go and see her in person and he says he'll be back as soon as possible. he stays a while and kirsten cancels the diner reservations. at rebecca's hotel, rebecca talks about how she wished she never ran and stayed with sandy. they end up kissing and he leaves. when he gets back, kirsten is clearly upset and basically closes the kitchen door on him (they see each other when they're already in the house).

this weeks episode, I'm gonna need spolers for.

omg, i cant watch this weeks epsoide but i seen commericals. When Calab's daugther... (her name isnt popping in my head at the moment) is going to b adopted but Marrasia's mom doesnt want too! I wasn't expecting that...from marissa, anyway...I thought the writers would only put her with Ryan forever. :rolleyes:

yeah...they seemed good together...but Alex and Marrisa are cool together.

yeah...I was getting tired of Ryan/Marissa all the time.

Ryan bugs me. The guy who plays him totally sucks. And Ryan never has his own thing going on (at least, not the few episodes I've seen). Mostly, he solves everyone else's problems. That makes him booooring.

But I was kinda surprised when Ryan and Marissa broke up. I figured they were gonna be soulmates or something. oh well. mariss and alex forever!

Yeah, Ryan bugs me. When the show first started, I didn't think he was hot at all. I liked Seth. :wub:

tomorrow's episode is lindsay (caleb's daughter)'s last appearance on the OC. and anna (samaire armstrong) is coming back. i heard her contract hasn't expired yet.

really? YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never saw any episodes w/Anna, cuz I started watching the OC late in life, but she sounds awesome, and lindsey is annoying.

Lindsey is SOOOOOOOOO annoying! Okay, maybe not that annoying, I'm just exagerating...

um...lindsey IS that annoying!! She's always complaining about everyone being against her being adopted Caleb. He's an ass!! I don't see why she'd want to live in the same house as him anyway!

I am sooo excited about tomorrows episode. Marissa is gonna tell her mom about Alex, and I am soo gonna enjoy her mom blowing up! ^_^

I know. Caleb is like 20-25 years older than lindsey's mom on the show (pretty sure) When they said he was her dad I was like EWWWW!!

someone HELP ME!! I had to study for a test and missed most of tonight's show. I saw the part where Summer ran from the airport to the end. (the spiderman thing was so cheesy, from the moment he fell, I knew what was coming. Why WAS he dressed as SPIDERMAN, anyway?)

here's a summary that i got off the internet:

Shockingly, there is rain in Orange County as the show begins. This will be a theme throughout the hour. Afraid of water, Ryan and Seth discuss their girl problems over the phone. Seth decides to buy back his boat in an effort to impress Summer one last time. Meanwhile, Ryan visits Lindsay. She is afraid to take the DNA test and is even considering moving to Chicago with her mother. Ryan convinces her to take the test.

In the Nichol household, Alex is introduced to Julie. Marissa also admits that Alex is, indeed, her girlfriend. Later in the episode, Marissa moves in with Alex and they are caught together by Seth. He enjoys this discovery very much. Marissa, however, seems hesitant about her sudden life decision.

In other news, Rebecca is still around because she never took her bus. She calls and, to Kirsten's displeasure, Sandy goes to meet his first love. They end up in a hotel room because the roads are flooded. But our hero comes to his senses at least and calls Kirsten. On the way home, the car slides off the road and Rebecca finally leaves because the cops are called. When Sandy returns to Newport, Kirsten greets him with a kiss.

The entire family gathers for the DNA test and it comes back positive: Caleb is Lindsay's father! Nevertheless, Lindsay chooses to follow her mother to Chicago because she does not wanna be "Caleb Nichol's daughter." Ryan is sad. Summer is also distraught because she realizes that she loves Seth. At the airport, she tells this to an understanding Zach. Going straight to the Cohen's, she finds an upside down Seth, one who had been trying to fix the satellite. In the rain, the duo kisses and hearts melt across FOX television screens.
