Journey to Perfection
Surrounded by darkness,
I wanted to find out where I was going,
But I had no way of knowing.
I was lost in a trance;
I was lost in a spell,
I was stuck in this never ending hell.
A beast approached and its shiny coat was as black as my vicinity;
Its white teeth shone like the full moon at night,
Its paws moved toward me slowly;
It headed for me with all of its might.
As it got closer, I found what it was:
The werewolf jumped like a cheetah on me.
I tried to push the nightmarish creature away,
But it did not let me free.
Then I felt my soul leave me;
That vicious monster took it away;
It was as fast as killing a mere ant;
I would never see another beautiful day.
My spirit lifted up in the air;
My physical body lay there lifeless.
A hidden line kept the two together;
There was no way for me to be link less.
As I flew up higher,
It was like the night flew away too;
I saw the rest of the world
In all of its glory and I felt anew.
The many buildings polluted the beauty;
They blocked the true meaning of the earth.
Now I was a part of it,
I was embedded in its hearth.
The invisible, swirling wind flowed through me,
Its awesomeness filled me in;
The clouds filed in a line
And the blue atmosphere felt akin.
The heavens above opened up,
The light of God shone through,
I soared gracefully into the radiance
And the land of perfection was in clear view.
As I passed through that heavenly dimension,
The pulling feeling of my soulless body suddenly was free.
I felt cleansed and untouchable;
I was where I always wanted to be.

to sharon: no not really, for english i needed to put something supernatural b/c we were studying romantic poetry which is really like connected to nature and there r supernatural elements so... thats y and thanks a lot :D
