Is anyone else not a shipper, like me? I think the books have lost their meaning recently. They're supposed to be about spying. That's why I got them in the first place. Now they're all about the 3 guys. I thought it was ok before, when there was one guy at a time, because the books weren't all about that one guy. Now it's like sweet valley, and they added Skyler, who I hate. Fearless, I thought was supposed to be about Gaia kicking ass, but now all she does is talk about guys...I think she'll end up alone.

Yea I know, it's driving me insane. What's the point of the series being called Fearless when she isn't even Fearless? This guy is a weakling. She doesn't stand up for herself. The old Gaia didn't take crap from no one and she kicked ass. Literally..I want HER back! It's not a book without the old Gaia.

And does anyone feel that the Gaia from books 15-30 are different from the Gaia in boks 1 - 14?

i agree, now gaia is a prep, shes hanging out with the fohs for goodness sake, and all that she cares about are the guys. it is annoying the crap out me! something big better happen soon!

Fake was so awful. So what if she's fearless? They didn't even explain why. She was just fearless again for convenience.

There were too many relationship problems, and Gaia came off sounding like such a bitch in this book, I don't know why. Her fearless ness was cool before, but now it's boring and repatative.

Skyler is just...gross. Gaia is an idiot for trusting him.

ok, Mary hate to be rude, but you DID want Gaia to be fearless again (at lesat, that's what you said in some other post). And the series isn't over yet. It might be explained.

And btw, it wasn't about spying at first. All we knew was that Gaia was fearless.

actually, I said I didn't want her to be fearless. :) And it probbaly won't be explained well, because of the way the series is going lately.

My fault. We started talking about the non-shipping and you said the books lost it's meaning and then I said it's better in Fake because she's fearless again and then you said you didn't like her fearless.

Back on topic...Is she sure she isn't writing Sweet Valley? I think she's been comfusing the two. THAT is the book about cheeseness and guys, not our beloved Farless. It should've ended while it was good.

I used to read Sweet Valley High in 3rd grade... and I'm shocked at how similar it is becoming to Fearless.

1.) Both series all have the perfect guys, love triangles, and guys fighting over the gals.

2.) The main characters of SVH (Liz and Jess) are twins like Tommy and Olly. She has a thing for twins, altgough I did like the Tom and Oliver as Twins idea. So that's not ALL bad.

Can anyone think of anything else? It's 11 and I'm a bit tired...There's probably a lot more.

Okay, I read SVH:SY (senior Year) and here's other thing they have in common

-bratty girls (Melissa in SVH, Heather in Fearless) who got their guys stolen from the main character (Jess in SVH, Gaia in Fearless).

I used to to be a total Ed shipper (notice my screen name) but now I'm just...whatever. In books, there are things much more important than romance. In life, there's more than romance. The books had romance as a side thing, but now that dominates the book, so now for every book I'm anti-shipper.

Mary...that's be weird. reminds me of FP's SV series. There's a gay guy who used to be really cool and funny, but then he met his bf and I seriously could've believed he was a girl. He's so cute! Is something he could've actually thought! I mean, I know he's you know, gay, but he starts acting more like a girl, i wouldn't be suprised if he started wearing make-up (not bashing gay ppls., just saying, she's making him sound like a girl).

I dunno...some people DO think about boys 24/7. My friend likes another boy every other day, and we're only freshmen, but her mom says she can't date until she's a senior. She got pretty mad over that...but she's even more boy crazy than Gaia. I swear, it's all that's on her mind anymore. I'm starting to hate her.

And on Fearless...Gaia needs to just dump all of her exes and never get back together with them again. And Jake, Sam, and Ed need to accept that Gaia won't always be there for them. And the "Curse of Gaia Moore" and "Gaiabetes" and them saying Gaia is like a virus and they will never be able to go through another hour without her is all a bunch of trite crap. Okay, after you lose someone important, you may not get over that ever, but they've taken it too far with all the Gaia-disease metaphors. We get it! I don't know why they keep mentioning that, but I get it!

I hope Francine focuses more on Gaia, the main character, instead of her love life. It's never gonna be resolved, let's just face it.

But about the guys saying she's like a virus...in a way, it's true, Ed almost got KILLED because of her, and Sam got in BIG TROBULE because of her and Jake hasn't known her long enough yet.

after ed and gaia had sex and started dating, i wasn't really a shipper until jake came along. and now jake is irking me and i'm not a shipper anymore. i liked ed and gaia's friendship but that seems lost now. and jake is too cocky and arrogant and not what he used to be.

By what I hear Jake is a jerk(How Ironic, my brother has that name and we call him Jerkub) At least people like Ed and Sam TRY not to be complete Idiots. Like I said I haven't read that far, but I get the Idea. This is only by what I hear, but if I were in Gaia's shoes I wouldn't even consider Jake. Then again, she has more of a chance of getting more then one boyfriends then I do before I am 90 :P
