Gaia stared down at the lost game, she knew what he would say next.

"Check mate Ceendy" Zolov said
Gaia looked up at the old man and fiddled around in her blue jacket and pulled out a twenty.

"There" Gaia watched as Zolov instpected it and then showed it to his Power Rangers which were propped up on the side of the chess table. Zolov nodded and gleefully put the money in his back pocket of his black jeans.

"Ceendy, why you look so glum, just beacuse you lost to me" Zolov smirked and wiped his face with his jacket sleeve, if you could call it that.

"Nothing is wrong Zolov". Now even Gaia was lying to this poor old man, her life had taken another bad turn, wait her whole life was a bad turn. Ed and her were fighting again. Ed, Gaia thought, he is so...intruding. If he never.... No need to think about that again, Gaia.

"Well thanks for the game, got-"

"No, stay one more game"

"Sorry I really gotta go". Gaia stood up and waved at Zolov and stalked off. She was in the mood for a good ass-kicking. Gaia looked around for possible 'candidates'. Drug dealers, muggers. There had to be some in the park, some ass-hole ready to take advantage of a girl, especially a blonde or someone trying to get someone else. And Washington Square Park was the perfect place.

"Help me! Help me!!" Gaia snapped her head around into the direction of the screams and sprinted. Finally, she thought, can't believe it took me this long to find trouble, it seems to follow me around I am used to getting it fast. Adreniline pumped through her body as she flew through the park. There! The screams were coming from behind the bush and Gaia flung herself through it. Gaia took one look at the mugger and gasped.

It was Sam.
