i think that sam was meant for her since they did meet first and gaia wasn't interested in ed in the first place but now that jake's here, i like jake better.

eek! its ok, its ok, he makes a recoverey in 32. at least thats what other people here have told me! at the end of 31 he was practicly dead cuzz an X got slashed into his back. the scene went like this:

"what is it? What happened?"
and when jake replied, the next two words went through gaia like a spear.
"it's Ed" jake rasped. "Ed Fargo. Ed and Kia."
"what?" gaia begged. she could hear her voice breaking. "what? jake please...tel me..."
"they got attacked. last night, by those...by those kids on that damn invince."

and the scene went on like that and jake finally told gaia that the kids on the invince cut a freaking X into his back. but then we found out that Kia was perfectly fine, just a couple scraps. but that ed was pretty much dead.

aawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww he4 has to be ok. damn kia, she ok, she should be the one with the x, not ed!

If Gaia truly loved Ed, she would've loved him since the beggining, since he was in the wheelchair, she would've liked him for whom he was. don't ya think? (If you don't you're a hypocrite)

Yeah if she did truly love ed..it would have been like it was with Sam.

How can Gaia clearly love Ed if she didn't love him in the first place? To be honest I kind of think Sam should've been the lucky guy but since Gaia's Fearless, it's complicated.

ANd I don't think Gaia was a hypocrit with the Ed in chair thing. She did have feelings for Sam. THEN. Sam and Gaia had a unspoken thing going on. They understood each other without words. Ed's a guy who loves talking to much for the silent thing sam and gaia thing. But after a while, gaia was willing to share at least enough for ed and her to become a couple. And Sam happened to be "dead" around then. But her feelings for Sam were dying anyways. His getting out of the chair happened to be at the same time her relationship with Sam started to give out. Either that, or Francine loves making annoying female main characters.

THIS is part of the reason why I hate the guys. Everyone's always fighting over 3 characters. Sure, this is a website where people talk about the characters, but still. And Gaia did get with Ed less than a week after Sam's death, she should have at least waited a little while, if she was sad about Sam at all. Gaia liked all of them, otherwise they wouldn't ever have been with her in the books. I don't think she liked anyone over the other.
