Vilya was flying swiftly through the air, letting the ice cold wind go over her feathers and under her, carrying her on the crest of a storm. A storm indeed was coming, and in the time before Vilya was simply playing around, as lately she got to do little.

She began to fly back to the cave.... Most likely they would have another boring meeting. She believed whole-heartedly in the groups cause, but sometimes she thought it an extra responsibility she regretted bearing.

Reenoko flew slightly above the clouds. The air pressure was getting low and he needed to land somewhere. He dove below the clouds and looked around. As he did that he heard the wind cutting around someones feathers other then his own. He looked around and saw a eagle. He watched her and flew a little closer, "Hello?" He said slowly, hoping this was an eagle on either the good side or not on a side at all. "Hello?" He skreached again, wondering if the eagle could hear him. He knew it probaly could so he dropped lower, trying to get some sort of air pressure to fly on.

Hearing the voice of a fellow eagle or griffin, Vilya flew to the ground in a stop and perched easily on a snow covered rock. "Hello Friend" she said, "Are you headed to the meeting today?"

Reeno followed and landed on a pile of rocks as well, "What meeting is this?" He asked, suddenly very interested. He had never interacted with eagles ver much before but he had seen them on multiple occasions and knew they were clever creatures.

"I was just flying this way by chance, for I was looking for a place to stay during the oncoming storm." He finished evenly.

"A meeting discussing the alliance of Eagles and Griffins and the cats of Mirkwood." VIlya answered, suprised that he had not heard tell of it. "Youre not from around these parts, are you?" she asked, Fluttering her snow white wings just enough to shake the snow out.

"No, I come from another place, but I travle a lot and must have let the new slip by me. If you don't mind, could I follow you there?" He asked. This was big news for an allince could help those young gryphons who were captured someplace. He decided that if that was not already one topic of disscussion he would bring it up.

"Sure you may come, we are always looking for new members to aid our cause," said Vilya, impatiently flittering her feathers. "Yet come swiftly, for we are already late..."
She hoped he wouldnt fall behind... the cave was pretty well hidden.

"Let us be off then." He said, leaping into the air and flapping his feathers. She cam also and they headed for the cave.

Another mile or so of swirling snow drifts and they arrived at a small depression in the rock. Only it wasnt so small, upon closer examination, it was a cave. A shallow cave, but spacious in size, and just wide enough for two griffins to fly in abreast.

Reenoko landed softly in the cave, looking around. There was much evidence that it was often in use of birds and he approved happily, "So, who else are we waiting for my friend?" He asked carefully adressing the eagle, whose name he had already forgotten. This would be a very interesting meeting, he told himself silently, his beak remaining shut.
