Hi, if you have a read on the Zetec-cat web site it gives you loads of parts required and part numbers.

eg

The standard 2.0 litre Zetec flywheel can be used however this is quite heavy. This will require a standard 2.0 Zetec clutch and a clutch release bearing from a 1971-88 Ford Transit 2.4/2.5 diesel (Quinton Hazell part CCT303)

The 1.6 and 1.8 litre Zetec flywheel can also be used which is considerably lighter than the one from the 2.0 litre engine. This will require a standard 1.6/1.8 Zetec clutch and a clutch release bearing from a 1982-89 Ford Sierra 2.0 OHC (Quinton Hazell part CCT132)

Starter Motor
If using one of the standard Zetec flywheels, you will need a starter motor from a Ford Sierra with a 1.8 CVH or 2.0 DOHC engine. The Lucas part for this is the LRS707.

Sump
You can use a CVH sump but modify it, but i'm using a Escort Zetec one and i've got just enough ground clearance (about 30mm more than a Mondeo one).

I found most things in a scrappy or off other forums except the clutch and release bearings which were new ;)

What are you doing on the fueling and spark side ?

Well im looking at a megajolt and using twin 40s as i have them already.
But have loked at bike carbs also just not sure tbh. I was going to get the engine and gearbox in first also i phone tiger and they do all u need to fit zetec to T9
it works out to be about £300 all new and that is a lightened and balanced flywheel
starter motor but not sure if that is a good price but atleast u know it will fit and work .. again not sure if iget my head round paying a little more but know it will fit and go then maybe ;)

What are you going to get from Tiger for £300? this text is taken from the zetec-cat site

"In order to mount the engine longitudinally, the engine will need attaching to a gearbox from a rear wheel drive car. Thankfully, the gearbox bolt holes on the Zetec match those used on previous Ford engines from the X-Flow, Pinto and CVH. This means that any of the gearboxes from those cars will just bolt straight to the engine. "

So what else do you get?

I only ask as I collected my S2 yesterday & am now looking at which engine to fit.

Alan...
