Ehm no.
Would be more than willing to buy a pair from you if they turn out ok! B)
Mick.
Yeah sort of,
I stripped my seats down and replaced the plywood base along with the foam and re-secured the seat covers (used a staple gun to re-secure the covers to the base.) the seat covers them selves are a simple PVC material with some stitching in "ribs" and the corners stitched in, the base was left "open" and folded over before being stapled to the seat base/back.
Check out my pictures in the gallery "my S1".
I also cut out the molded seat bases as they are not very comfortable or in the right place for best driving position for me (covered the hole in 3/8 (10mm) ply and bonded it in with fiberglass) I now have a limited amount of seat adjustment to allow for taller drivers (about 2 inches)
Phone me if you like on 07850773394 sunday onwards. Dave.
Hi
I have a S1 too and I ask me questions about the seats...
If I have plenty of money, I shall buy Intatrim Saturn seats.
I Think they will fit if I cut the molded bases
It will be less expensive to use vinyl cushions
I have seen somewhere that Polyfacto was also making cushions for Dutton
Has anybody bought them ?
Jean-Pierre
Thanks for the tip off Jean-Pierre.
Saturn seats are going into UUG (hope the mrs doesn't read this) :D
Cheers,
Mick.
