Finally took my Phaeton 3 out for its first drive. Motor is a little peaky probably never use 5th gear. Also sprung some leaks the worst being the front seal on the gearbox. The gas guage quit along with the tach. Does anyone know what the dash cluster originally came from? Hopefully the pics will show up clearly if I figure out the upload. Looking forward to a summer of motoring.

If the fuel gauge and tacho have given up at the same time, then have a look at the voltage regulator behind the dash

Dash could be from a Cortina or maybe even a Sierra but the picture is not quite clear enough to be sure.
