Well where do i start ....
why does the help line tell u lies ?
before i brought my car i phoned them to find out what i had to do to change
owners on a car brought from Ireland and they said it was easy sent me the forms to fill in and said hen u get them phone us and we will go thro them with u .I tho
great so did then they said go to your locsl office and they wil give u your new a temperary papaer work so i can get plates made and my tax dics seemed easy !!
So of i went with all my paper work looking forwards to drving the car that day.
When i got there they told me i would have to wait till there inspector came out and it would be in next few days ok seemed ok as i had booked 2 weeks of to get this done and this was my first day of my holiday.
After 2 weeks i phoned up the local office to be told he is going on jury service and it could be more then 8 weeks before he can come out because he will wait till he gets more in my area till he comes ??????
So mot insureance all wasted til ican use it .. bah
i have read alot about this happening but still after talking to them on more then one acation and asking many times how it works u find out they dont know them selfs.But still after waiting 2 weeksand phoning them they then told me i could bring it to them ona Tuesday in the office and he can check it there ?? why did no one tell me at the time . Ok rant over with ....
But still what a farce as i had ownership documents letter from old ownered who brought it over here and drove it for years on and of with no problems and alot of paper work backing it all up u would think it would help they could phone him and ask him or send him a letter lol what fun ... bah bah :angry:
Cannt wait to get started changing bits and playing with the car but no point till he comes out :angry:

6th of April and still he has not got in contact :angry:
im calling DVLA tomorrow to see if they have a idea when he might be coming :blink:
my hopes of driving it to Detling seeing as it is only 15 miles away have gone out the window :angry: :angry: :angry:

the dvla phoned to tell me the price of tax has gone up so i need to pay more
then when i went in last month to get the tax ..seeing as i have waited so long for an inspection
but then said i could go up pay the difference and get my tax disc woot so she is on the road now :D :D :D :D
now i can start to work out how to keep her cool when she is runing 120 degrees
seems hot to me lol but it could be the gauge as it has not been run for over 4 years ...................
