Title: Sparks
Description: best plugs

I have got hold of a pair of webers and manifold and am trying to source a free flow exhaust for the S4.

Would appreciate a bit of advice on the optimum spark plugs to use with the car as is and after I've fitted the carbs etc as I may not get round to that for a while.

Cheers
John

Hi John,

Personally NGK would be my choice and look for 7 heat for that engine - the 5's that I fitted shortly after the rebuild if they are still in it were all I could get hold of and will run too hot.

Burton Power

ignition and electrical / spark plugs / Pinto / NGKAP7FS

What Webers did you get hold of ?

I have found a few bits and bobs for the car as well

A clutch arm protection boot and tension spring, engine lifting eyes and dont now if I said before but I have a section of S4 bonnet to repair the hole where the filter is should sidedrafts be fitted.

Did you get the mail with the link to the fuse boxes etc.?

Cheers

Andrew

Thanks for the advice Andrew. I'll give them a try. I got a pair of weber dcoe 40s. I would have preferred 45s but the 40s were cheap so I'll give them a go.

Thanks for letting me know about the bits. I'd certainly be interested so I'll let you know when I'm over next to save the overseas postage.
