Hi all,

Im putting an alloy tank into my Phaeton S3 and at the moment have:

a) Outlet pipe for fuel
B) Fuel intake pipe from filler neck

The old tank has a breather tube fitted to the tank (escort?)

Ive looked at other designs some have a breather pipe fitted into the filler neck. Is this the best way to go? Rather than welding another pipe into the tank?

Do most car filler caps have a breather included in their design?
