Is anyone is interested the annual Western Telegraph Pembrokeshire Classic Car Run takes place this year on Sunday the 2nd September? Start is usually at 10.30 but if you're running it's best to get there about an hour before hand to book in and have a nose around. The run goes from Milford Haven to Havefordwest then over to Newgale, follows the coast road to Fishguard where there's a break for cake, tea and pee. Then again along the coast road to cardigan then up over the Presseli hills, through Narberth and on to Tenby. Distance is about 86 miles. You are expected to stay in the Tenby car park afterwards for a while so the muggles can gawp with wonder at your car. It's only being running a few years. The first event was for the millennium with about 70 cars. But due to demand they've kept it going. Last year there were over 350 entrants. This year they've beaten that already. It's a fun run and it's nice to drive with people lining the road waving at you.
Entry is free, in fact you get a Monte style rally plate, a certificate and a bag with a balloon and sweets in it at the finish.
