Title: S3 at the weighbridge

paultvrone - July 5, 2007 07:52 PM (GMT)
Hi I took the S3 to the weighbridge, it had about 23 litres of fuel and had all the wet weather gear in the boot.
Its a V8 and the chassis has been extended by 15” and it has cobra seven seats (heavy),
The total weight was 850 kilos

Interesting

Makes Mr Duttons estimation of 500kg :D quite interesting

I always guestimated my S4 at around 725kg which now looks light in comparison to yours.

And it was quite heavy in comparison to my stripped out Westfield.

With or without you in it?

Are you sure its 15" ? - what's the wheelbase (centre to centre of the wheels front to back)

Cheers

Andrew

Mi car a phaeton S3 with 1600hc x flow, oil coler, original seats and wheels is 585 Kg and I think is too much...
How much HP gives your V8 engine?
