Thanks for that Mr G, shame i could'nt make it.
Looks like some tidy builds for a change ;)
So what BHP does the Cossy S4 make ?, was the S2000 powered car about ?
And cheers for the RS200 pics, pretty sure thats the paint scheme for the Legerra :D

Some nice pics their, especially one of them ;) :D , I missed the rs200. I think thats one of the old Banham models that started life with Maestro mechanicals. I think it now has the underpinnings and motor from an Impreza, which makes a lot more sense.

My mate was talking to Nick Hood who owns the S4 with the cossie lump installed but I was'nt keeping track of their conversation tbh just sniffing around the car and taking piccys :) I did'nt look at the figures on the dyno graphs just at the toque curve :) think it was around 450. Mentioned the site to Nick and he said he'd have a look as he only knows of the doc.
Did'nt see anything in S2000 flavour, although I was on the lookout - as well as sniffing around the melos's for the 4x4 one.
The RS200 makes more sense now if it is a modified banham maestro kit (Although how it would be on an N plate I don't know) as I thought it was a subaru engined SPD200 (Space frame chassis originally designed for ford V6 running gear) After looking in through the back window I actually saw a the floor pan and it all looked a little too production vehicle orientated to be a modified spaceframe + engine.
Cheers
G

The nicest Dutton to my mind was on the Eagle stand - a really straight P21 in BRG.
There was also a nice straight Legerra on another stand just across from the DOC stand.
Two or three nice straight Melos on the DOC stand stood out for me - clean and un fussed - shame that more people cant get the less is more vibe with regard to Duttons but to their own I guess (mellow moment)
The S4000 ;) - for sale at £8000 on the net - was not at the show as far as I could see and I did not see the BHP graph on the spaceframe race car S4 - lots of work being done on it though.
Overall a pretty good show - shame about the weather on Monday which meant that most people went home just after Lunch when the tents had dried out sufficiently to be packed away. Across from us on the ShACC stand the GT40 went from a full two cars deep across the front of the stand - maybe 25-30 cars to 2 this morning and that was repeated across the show.
Did the show in the Westie and it never missed a beat.
Cheers
Andrew
