"Have mocked up everything Steering, Pedal
Box, All that needs doing is to mount seats, trim interior, Lengthen front propshaft ,re-install the loom and get paint job. I have attached a few photos if you can manage to get them onto the forum that would be great. They were taken a while ago, as the chassis now has the engine, gearbox rear propshaft all the brakes etc.fitted. A must will be new front shockers as the ones fitted are for set up only as they have as much resistance as a pork sausage :( "

So hopefully should have some new pics soon, i think the melos looks great that bit wider (i'm almost tempted myself :) )

That is looking very good. What size engine is in it?

I cannot remember if its a 2.8i or 2.9i, its all from a XR4x4 including its running gear.
Hopefully Steve will post some more details ;)

The Engine is the 2.8i V6, would have prefered the 2.9 because of the better exhaust config, but vowed to use as much of the doner as possible. With the body
being wider the 4x4 seats fit perfectly so I have recline and lumber support  The engine sits some 300mm further back than standard ,mostly to allow room for the front differential but still allows the gearleaver to be within easy reach.I will try to get a few shots of the car as it is now, to post in the next few days
Kindest Regards
Steve
