Hi!My name is George and I 'm living in Greece.I own a Ford Cortina 2000.My engine is 1993cc.I 've made some mods to the engine and I have a little problem with it 's powerband.I 'd like some help from you!My mods are:
93mm v6 pistons
lightened and balanced rods , crank and flywheel
competition clutch
stage 3 head (unleaded)
camshaft Kent FR32
twin 45's (weber) with 40mm chokes
standard electronic ignition (ford's motorcraft)
electric fuel pump
55mm free flow exhaust
4-2-1 exhaust manifold
5-speed sierra box
3,44:1 dif
My problem is that my powerband is not 2500-7000rpm(like kentcams says) but it doesnt have power until 5000rpm.please help me I am living in Greece and nobody knows anything about this engine. they are looking only how to tune Honda's VTEC and Peugeot's 106 Rallye!please help me!!!
