As also seen on the DOC website, my Phaeton S3 is up for sale.
£2000 ono

Built / first registered in 1997, using new or reconditioned parts.
Donor registered 1972 (Historic vehicle, tax exempt).
Only 4500 miles, MOT May 2009, Full history (inc. original bill of sale from Dutton).

1.6 X-Flow -- nicely tuned, lightened / balanced etc.
4 spd gearbox
GAZ front coil overs (adjustable).
Multi leaf rear suspension.

I am the second owner, bought it off the builder / 1st owner in May 2003 when it had 1100 miles on it.

Regularly taken to local shows.
Loads of spares, hard top (not fitted), weather gear (tonnaeu, doors, soft top), etc etc

Above -- R11 Porsche Club BBQ '07, parked in the Jaguar section, due to:
1) my XJ6 Series 1 fuel filler ;)
2) is that an e-type bonnet bulge Mr Dutton?? :D

Have had a few requests for pics of the car with the hard top, so here they are.
Please note that the fixings on the body to secure the hard top have not been made -- so these pictures are solely with the hardtop in place (not fitted).

Above: note the Phaeton badge ---> from a friendly VW dealer who asked me for my Phaeton v5 before he would sell me the part...... :lol:

Little Dutton story -- I found this hard top during a friends' garage clearout.
Once I got it home, I realised I would need to drill holes in the body for the little brackets to secure -- decided not to do that, but keep it anyway because it was what it was --
a Dutton (rare)
Phaeton (also rare)
Hardtop (rocking horse)!
