Weekly update or the 18 of July

HOSTING! Well this week as been a very buzy one here at download city. It all started off on Thursday when are bandwidth ran out and where left alone with no one to host us. But after a few days hunting we have secured new hosting with MikeFTP, Very kindly he has supplied us with enough room and unlimited bandwidth. So running out of bandwidth and one BIG plus with this new hosting NO ADS! The Only ads you will get are ones that follow you down on the main page. This is only because we are looking for more hits at the moment and this is one thing we are trying.

With the new hosting you may get a few pages cannot be found, if you get this error please tell email me the error at daniel.teed@talk21.com also you will find that the unix and os/2 sites are offline. This is because are most up to date copy of these sites are on the 250free servers, witch are down at the moment as they have had a big problem. But we will fix this as soon as possible and inform you when the sites back up online.

Also please note with this new hosting if you have a fast connection ie ADSL or faster you may find that page load times are slow dont worry about this its just because of the new hosting and the way servers are, If it get two slow we will start looking around for more hosting but we are happy with it.


NEW SKIN! Well the forum was looking very boring and dull. So we have installed a new skin for your enjoyment. MORE DOWNLOADS At the moment im working on getting more downloads on the site I have been saying this for a long time but I mean it! I had quight a few ready last week but after my computer Crached on me I lost a weeks work. Im working on the downloads as much as I can and will tell you when there online and ready to be used!
