As wife of the biggest Bug Hunter in Dereth I feel it is my duty to announce the details of one of the happiest days of his life and his newest favorite spot.
(Especially since there's no way in Dereth I'M getting on his computer to play anytime soon.... hehe!)
Ahem, at 66.5 N and 70.6 E there has been discovered what looks to some as a subtle hole in the ground, but to my darling Stinmark it was abundantly clear for what it was, a new Hive of Scum and Villainy! That's right, two young brood queens and two young matrons have infested Ant Hill with their spawn, the site of my still vivid adventure with Cicada such a short while ago.
The beautiful rolling hills have suffered tremendously appearing scorched as the trees wither and die mushrooms and strange buds which are abundant in the hives themselves infest the landscape...
There is also an Olthoi Hunter who will outfit you in a new armor type in exchange for various pieces of the foul Young Brood Matrons and the Young Brood Queen which inhabit this new hive... Stinmark is, at this very moment doing what he does best, bashing and smashing his way through passages and passages of Bugs.
The Young Matrons randomly drop one of three body pieces, Tail, Tarsus and Tibia.
The Young Brood Queens randomly drop two of six Different pieces, Head, Crest, Carapace, Metathorax, Femur and Claw.
We believe that all of these are necessary to acquire a Full Set of Armor from the Olthoi Hunter. I personally like the look of the new armor, and at a base AL of 400 and Unparralleled protection vs. acid, it should be all the Rage of Dereth for some time... So keep your Eyes peeled Boys and Girls,
Stin'll be showing his off anytime now.......
And maybe, just maybe....
THEN I'll get to Play!
Then Stin and I will both have some.
Have fun and be careful, there's big Bugs out there... :) ...and you might have to chase them down to catch them once they find out you're a Dragonknight!

For those interested in partial sets of armor I have it on good authority (Considering Stin has his now.. ) which olthoi parts give you which pieces of armor.
Considering that the armor is unenchantable, but droppable (must be lvl 40 to wear) You may wish to mix and match......
(Besides, Stin's exploring lower OHN now, so he still won't let me on.. )
Head = Helm
Claw = Pauldrons
Tail = Bracers
Crest = Gauntlets
Carapace = Breastplate
Metathorax = Girth
Femur = Tassets
Tibia = Greaves
Tarsus = Sollerets
Also different colored underclothes affect part of the coloration (the parts that are initially white) but I haven't gotten to test it to see all the possible ramifications...
