My Fellow Dragonknights,

I'd like to address the issue of leasing level VII buffs from Mekle, Fulano & Pasta in Eastham.

I'm currently carrying the burden at this point, but I can no longer handle the cost at this point. So i'm leaving the choice up to the voting & active members of the clan... Do you want to maintain thier services as a clan-wide expense, or should I cancel it and go back to an acount-by-account basis and simply use Bowen as our bot (Your vote on this is VERY important, Faladoor/Bowen)?

The current rate (which may lower in the future due to the low number of active players in the clan at this point is a monthly charge of 10 writs, 100 plats or
20 MMDs.

I plan on attempting a clan meeting in the near future (tenetively planning on Sun the 18th) to discuss this as well as introduce some of the newer members to those who can attend.

I feel that we dont really need them all that much. I think maybe I have used them once. I dont know about the rest of the DK's but Dont keep feeding them the green (or in this case white) because of me.

thay are handy to have around but for the size of the DKs id say the price is a bit much.. more so seeing as how thay dont bane you without giving em your armor. but then again i dont use VIIs on anyone other than chars that cant buff with Vs at the least... and for bod recoverys. i like having the option of getting buffs for free when i need em.. but an account with Pi Mage is far cheaper that iv found and you can get your banes. if we could get Bowin up and running 24-7 that would be rad.

It is handy to have their services, and I am willing to help foot the bill for them, if they are indeed being used, but if as I suspect most DK's can either buff themselves, or will be able to use Bowen to the same effect...

Unless the price comes down drastically I would suggest we thank the Trinity, but not continue our contract.. we're already a small clan.. and to only have a fraction of those small numbers using them and then trying to still make the astronomical cost? This humble soul doesn't feel it's worth it.. especially with so few using it and those who don't not feeling inclined to help pay the cost, which is fine.. but mean that only a half dozen characters at most are making use of the service.. Bowen can easily handle that traffic, and it' much cheaper to throw some plats Bowen's way than to have to pay for burned plats on the trio AND pay their huge monthly cost....

If others feel we should keep them I will again help with the cost when I am again home in Alaska, but I do not feel that will be the case...
