I was looking at the equipment of those taking part in the challenge, and I was just awed by how low level some of th gear is. So as just an idea. Why not before the challenge starts, give the participants some cash to by gear for the challenge. The catch is, is the gear is returned at the end of the challenge. Kind of like the items are on loan. I know it's not that great of an idea, but it would even some of the odds in the fight.

Except... instead of giving you guys some money... Anybody participating may choose any armor that their class can use that's their level or below, and any weapon that their class can use that's below their level, their level, or 3 levels higher than your level (the theory being that you've recieved these items from the city armory, and other fighters have taught you to weild the weapon reasonably well). The reason the armor doesn't have the +3 levels on it as well is that you can't really be "taught" to wear armor. If something's too heavy or too bulky for you at your current level, that's just the way it is, and thus you cannot use that armor.

But, as you said: the equipment must go back at the end of the event. ^_^

I'll open up an armory thread in Avalon later today so you guys can do that while I'm drawing pictures and stuff.
