Title: A Slight Annoyance
Description: Rewards

Drayco - September 19, 2004 03:22 AM (GMT)
I have recently finished a quest, and I like doing them. But I also like having gear that is relatively good. The prices for armor and weapons have dropped. They've even dropped to very reasonable prices. But the rewards have dropped as well. To much so to really get anything decent after one or two quests. Basically the rewards, in my opinion, have dropped way to much.

I know this is ranting and probably borderline raving, but the rewards need to be raised. Maybe back to the 2000 people used to receive for a quality quest. It keeps thing about even with prices. It would still take a few quests to buy the better stuff, but, most of us would save it an mass purchase for a lot of stuff. This is all I have to say.

Rewards should go up.

Maybe rewards should go up. But quest quality and length should as well.

I've given this some thought and last night I came to the conclusion that while not completely correct, you're not completely wrong, either, Drayco. Therefore I'm increasing rewards by 50%.

eg. If I were going to reward you 500 gold and a level, you'll get a level and 750 gold.

It's not a big increase unless you do really well and warrant something like 800-1200 gold.

Anyway, also keep in mind that the gold is a tradeoff for levels. If you don't want levels, I could easily exchange like... 1 level for 800 gold, 2 levels for 1500 gold, 3 levels for 2100 gold. (of course - im not going to just LET people do that on their own.)

If you don't want levels, then heck... just SAY so. IM, PM, w/e. Just let me know without doing something annoying like demanding it, or making an entire topic in the GD or Q&C. :P

Hope this makes y'guys a little more content.
