Background: Born in the heart of a deep jungle in the southern lands, Aria was one of the few people who wasn't directly affected by the Second War; her mother died in childbirth, but her father trained her to weild the same incredible skill and agility that he possessed as a ranger. When Aria was fifteen, her father went to fight the elves; she never saw him again.

For three years, Aria hid in her native home; the jungle she knew so well was her refuge, but she never knew that her father had died in the war--she always assumed he would return to her, smiling slightly as he did when he was pleased with her and asking her to continue her training. But he never came. As time passed, she slowly became desperate for her father's company. Finally, she set out to search for him.

For almost a year, Aria searched for her father; she searched in towns and cities, in villages and ports, but there was no sign of him. She was beginning to lose hope. Nobody had ever heard of Bayren, her father's given name, and nobody matching her father's description had arrived in any of the places she'd visited during her search. Finally, however, her persistence was rewarded.

For the four years since her father had left the jungle, she'd been traveling far and wide in a fruitless search for a father that she soon found out was dead; shortly after the Second War, a small elf scouting party raided the settlement her father was stationed in. He was slaughtered with the rest of them, like so many swine or cattle, but not one of them had died quickly; they had all suffered unto their deaths, all twenty or so of them, for days. Finally, they succumbed to the inevitable; Aria never got the chance to give her father a proper burial.

Eager for revenge, she spent four years tracking down the small party that had murdered him; she slaughtered every last one of them in rage and hatred. When she at last returned to civilization, she realized that she would forever be an outcast--she had no family, no friends, no home; her clothes were far different that those of most other peoples', and her training made her a superior warrior.

For the past year, Aria has been traveling; she has no set course, no set destination, she is merely wandering. She can't stay in one place for too long, or the monotony will threaten to consume her in agony; her only comfort is the rapier at her side, the last memento of her father, and the blood of her enemies. Only in killing does she find comfort, and never has she known love; it has been nearly a year since she slaughtered the small raiding party of elves, and she is not at all sorry for it. Now, however, she is beginning to wish she had a home that she could feel comfort in...

Its a very good start, but there are a few errors that need to be corrected. For one, you didn't give a name. Two, you didn't give a race (If you're gonna be a ranger, you have to choose between human or elf). Three there isn't an Amazon in DI, though i'll just wave that by because its only stated in the topic name. Four, show that you're female before the physical description please. Five, the background is much too short. Now, look at the registrations that have the little lock icon. Those are the registrations that have been accepted. Those registrations should help you get an idea of what a good registration is, okay? Now, if you need any help just say so. =)

Now, if you can correct those mistakes, I'll be more than happy to accept you and welcome you with wide arms into Dark Isles! ^_^

Only one spelling error, nice. You're accepted. Welcome to Dark Isles! ^_^ You start off in Avalon. I do believe there is a quest with Seto that hasn't had both spots filled, you can join in.
