Hey, I'm actually interacting with non-admins! I've achieved a personal goal! Well, that wasn't actually a goal of mine, but it makes me feel accomplished at least. So the new outcast class is up, and basically I'm just wondering what you guys think. If you love the class, great; I'm interested in hearing why, so that I can get a better idea of what you guys like to see in classes. If you didn't like the class, then that's fine too since you don't have to be an outcast (chances are that you guys are already registered as other characters). But I'd still like your input on that opinion too, to see what you guys don't want to see in classes on DI. Thanks in advance!
And at last I climb out of my shell from waiting for that other guy to post in that ooooooooold quest I got into...I really need to just go ahead with that one. Anyway, I like the class. I support posters who like actual role-playing more than just trying to create a super-powerful character. To me the class seems like a good opportunity for people to create a character who doesn't have to be a warrior. I guess the only downside I see with it is that in duels and things it wouldn't fare so well. Even with the skills for doing better in duels it would be difficult for an outcast to really kick butt at the earlier levels. I guess that does force the outcast to be more creative though. Also the duels do seem to be graded well on posting rather than just kicking butt. Otherwise the last tournament wouldn't have ended up so well for me. But I'm rambling.
What I like:
Unique class
allows for creativity
not a generic warrior-type
What I don't like:
Duelling capabilities. Though at higher levels the Jack of All Trades skills could make up for this.
I was actually very intrigued by the thought of having the outcast class put in with the other's. Its very unique, and yes they'd have to be extremely creative with their posting, especially in duels. I'd like to see some other unique classes as well, possibly even failed classes. What I mean by that would be "Wannabe" classes. Like a person who failed pretty much at being a mage, or ranger, or those kind of things. It'd be interesting to me, anyways.
What I didn't like about the Outcast is the begging. I'd dislike an outcast continually begging me for money..>.>
You know my opinion man. And just for good measure. *gives a thumbs up*
