Physical Description – At first glance, it could be difficult to discern Seto’s class. He has the medium muscular build of a Ranger, but in truth, he is a battle-ready Knight. His garments cover up much of his lightly tanned skin, leaving the observer to guess at the size of Seto’s muscles. Seto’s dark silver hair is top-of-the-shoulder length in the back and comes down to about his eyes in the front, parted in the middle showing his forehead. Seto wears deep blue colored boots that stop just below his knees, and a similarly colored belt is fashioned around his waist. He wears a pair of off-white pants and a matching tunic. However, the tunic is covered by a cloak that is a solid jacket from the top to the waist, then it splits into two flaps, one in the front, and one in the back. This leaves the sides of his legs visible. White wraps are fashioned around his wrists to help in combat. A dark gray cape with a hood completes his outfit. His armor is obliviously worn on the outside of his outfit.

Personality – Keeping to himself, Seto is not one to start a conversation, although he is very open when combat is at hand. Loyalty and honor are his highest moral values, with chivalry being his third highest. He believes that a woman deserves the best of manners and behavior, and a female in distress will automatically call Seto into combat. This, however, is an obvious weakness, he could never bring himself to hurt a lady.

Background

The origins of Seto’s bloodline can be traced back to the First Demon War. As the demons laid waste to Unluthio, the people of Avalon were swept with a feeling of frantic terror. The feelings of hopelessness began to set in. Yet, some sought of a way to turn the tide of the war. A mysterious group of mages known only as “The Order of the Seven Dawns” approached the King of Tharkas with a risky proposition. They told the King about a plan to breed supernatural warriors, mixing magic and might into a being of unbelievable power. These beings would be the hope that Tharkas so desperately needed, yet it came at a price. The mages demanded a huge sum of gold and resources to complete the project, funds that simply were not there. The King thought for three days on the issue before deciding. The funds could not be supplied, but he offered power instead. The mages would be given control over tracks of land in the Kingdom as payment for their services. The contract was agreed upon, and the mages went to work. The fused their magical might with the strongest warriors from the realms, after many failed attempts, it finally happened. Seven children were born, each with different colored eyes, each for one of the elements. Seto’s ancestor was born with gray eyes, representing the spirit element. This success however, happened after the Demon War had been won, now there were warriors, but no war. The mages went to the King, demanding payment. He however refused their claim, sense the warriors never were used. The mages left, promising vengeance on the betrayed King. Of course, none of this ever reached the public, nobody except the King and his advisors knew of the warriors, known only as “Seraphs.”
The mages breed hatred into the baby warriors, teaching them the art of combat and how they should distrust the Kingdom of Tharkas. Knowing that it would take more than one generation to accomplish their revenge, the mages built in an ingenious part into the warriors. When the Seraph died, his spirit energy would forge into a new being, another offspring that would inherit the entire old one’s experience and power. This however, has a flaw. The new offspring are usually too weak as newborns to control this raw power. This results in blackout periods were the new Seraph goes crazy with power, this usually happens in combat. The magic-infused power acts on its own, not needing the conscious decisions of the actual host to guide its movements. For more than a millennium, the Order and the Seraphs trained, generation after generation. Then, about 50 years before the present, Seto’s father was born. His name was Zak and he would change everything. After 25 years of training, he escaped from the Order’s stronghold and left for town, he did not want to be a Seraph.
It was then that Zak meet Seto’s mother, and young girl of 19 named Rebecca. The couple romanced, Rebecca knowing nothing of Zak’s true past. Just as their first son was born, the Order and the other Seraphs found Zak. They killed him, with unbelievable ease. They suspected that he had grown weak without practice, but in truth, the power of the Seraph had been transferred to the newborn, Seto. With his father died, his only link to his true past, Seto suspects nothing of his bloodline. With the success of the death of one of their own with such ease, the Order decided that it was time to unleash the Seraphs on their betrayers. As Seto grew up, the Seraphs plagued the countryside, leaving wakes of corpses and burned towns in their wakes. As Seto grew to age, he sets out to avenge his father, not knowing that he hunts his own kin.
