Physical Description - Taniith, like most mages, has a very thin build. His arms and legs are scrawny, yet show some muscle. His low fat count makes him mostly skin, muscle, and bones. Long hair originates at the base of his head, leading all the way down his spine. A silver streak runs down the right side of his hair, all the way to the bottom. On his face, he has a brown goatee that encircles his mouth. The soul patch that hangs off of his chin is the biggest part of the goatee, measuring up to 2 inches. His moustache looks like the handlebar on a bicycle, going out then start down to connect with his soul patch. His fleshy lips seem out of place in-between all that hair. Taniith has a multitude of tatoos on his upper body. On his back is a picture of a large, red dragon, spitting fire towards who ever is looking at it. Down the sides of his arms are black symbols of power that keep the energy inside his body in check. Red spires cover his chest, simulating the presence of fire on his body. If one were to stare long enough, the red spires would seem to move like a fire.

Personality - Sullen and tacit. Taniith believes that one should only speak when they have something important to say. Otherwise, they should keep their thoughts to themselves. Background

It all began when Taniith was very young, barely able to form any lasting memories. Four mages had come across his home on their way to town, sensing the potential for great power in the toddler. At the time, he was just one year old. He was the seventh, and youngest, child of a family of lower-class farmers. He didn't even know his brothers and sisters at this age.

Haggling with his parents, they made a deal to buy the child for 300 pieces of gold and take him with them. He was to be trained as a mage. He would be brought up to learn the ways of divination, understand the principles of alchemy, to master the knowledge of the universe itself! Taniith was taken away from civilization, being immersed into a small society of scholars and powerful casters. He had unwillingly left the left the light of the outside world and entered the vast darkness that held all sorts of information.

These casters of magic were independent of the White Could Army, yet serving in it when the call arised... and the pay was right. Each one was trained in the art of the deadliest of elements: earth, wind, and fire. Taniith learned of what his future might hold while still a young student in the mage school. He had always been a bright student, urging to learn more and more with each finished chapter. The professors saw him as a prodigy, while the students ignored his acheivements. Only a select few bothered to talk to him, and that was only when they wanted help with their training or a spell.

Taniith excelled in his classes, moving to the more advanced knowledge years ahead of his classmates. He saw it as an blessing, yet as he came close to finishing his studying, he found out what lay ahead of him. Once a student finished their course at the mage's school, they would undergo the painful process of initiation, which meant he would be one of the youngest to ever to receive his tatoos and protective wards. Since he was so young, he would not be eligible to receive any sort of anesthetics because his body was underdeveloped. He had to endure the painful process for 3 days. Taniith would be in bloody bandages for the next two weeks of his life, completing his studies before the age of 30. He had succeded in that area, yet his body had lost all feeling in return for the knowledge he accumulated.

Three months later, at the age of 26, Taniith was released from the hold of the mage's guild, free to do whatever he wished. They said their goodbyes to the young graduate, handing him 3,000 gold coins, some robes, a wand of his own, and the chance to do whatever he wanted. His teachers had always feared that he would come back to hurt them for the pain they inflicted upon him, but Taniith did not care. He had survived and that's all that had mattered. Now he could continue his studies without pause, hoping to learn from all he saw in the world.
