All classes may purchase cloaks and capes. Cloaks and capes are worn over all other armor equipped by the character. Only one cloak or cape may be equipped at a time. It is permitted to wear both a cloak and a cape simultaneously, but keep in mind that this would make movement somewhat more difficult and could impede a character’s ability to function up to his or her full potential in combat.
Robes are only usable by mages. They are worn over the mage’s body armor and convey whatever bonuses are mentioned in their descriptions. Being lightweight and generally loose, robes do not impede movement. Robes may not be worn in conjunction with cloaks or capes. Note that only cloth, fancy, and hex robes may be dyed.
Rings are only usable by mages. They are worn on the mage’s hand and convey whatever bonuses are mentioned in their descriptions. They do not at all impede movement. Due to their inherent magical bonuses, only adept mages can focus the powers of the ring to effectiveness, thus the level 30 requirement. The powers of the rings are in a delicate balance and tend to work incorrectly if brought into close contact with one another. Therefore only one ring may be worn at a time. By nature the rings nullify the magical essence of an elemental attack. So while for a charged slash the elemental influence would dissipate but the slash remain damaging, spells cast by monsters or other mages simply disperse.
Cloaks and CapesLvl 1 - Cloth Cape - 300

- Somewhat sturdier than the cloth cape, but a little more stiff.
Lvl 5 - Cloth Cloak – 1,300

- Robes worn by mages who have proven their magical talent. A sign of accomplishment for mages of medium strength.
