Title: Weird Links
Description: Have you noticed them?
Derhlith - March 23, 2004 02:22 AM (GMT)
I've noticed when on this and other InvisionFree forums that sometimes certain words or links have a weird yellow line beneath them. Some of these words were never meant to be links, either. Like right now on the word "travel" under the Hybernia is one of these lines. If you click it the link goes to an advertiser. I think that's kinda sneaky and subversive. It seems like these just started this week.
Really annoying...
Has anyone else noticed?

I noticed that a while back. it's just a little self loading program. It took my about an hour to find and get rid of it. It used words like water and sword on mine...became very annoying.

They really do get annoying. Esspecially when you're trying to read posts and other things. If I could remember the file name I could tell you how to get rid of it. All I can remember is finding a file on my task bar that shouldn't have been there.

Sounds like a Job for Spybot *nods*

Yeah. I ran Ad-Aware 6 about 5 times in the past 2 days, deleted tons of stuff. It's gone, now. ^_^

*nods* I got both.....they said on TSS that Spybot and Adaware compliment each other very well....anything Adaware misses Spybot gets and vice versa

I dont know what you guys are talking about. All the letters and words are regular to me, save for the ones that are supposed to be.

I say we hunt down the man that made the wierd link program and beat his computer into a buzzing hunk of disfigured plastic.
