Title: Solo Quests

Veran - March 11, 2004 01:46 AM (GMT)
If a quest says it needs a manpower of 2, do we need to wait for someone else to join? Or can we create an NPC-type character who can serve as the second adventurer for the duration of the quest, just to get on with it?

If you need a partner, I'd be glad to join you. You're in the Shifting Powers quest right? I'll post in it tomorrow if you will have me.

Derhlith - March 11, 2004 04:19 AM (GMT)
She is not in Shifting Powers because she's in the Outer Rim. That quest is in Hybernia. She would have to travel there via boat first.

As for a manpower higher than what you have. Filling the requirement isn't necessary. That's more of a cap than it is a requirement to fill. You can solo it, but don't expect an NPC to fill the 2nd space. If someone else wants to join it, they may. But they don't have to.

At level 3 you may begin making your own quests, until then you have to join the pre-made ones that are laid out by a mod or admin.

That'd be cool Kyo, I like to RP with other people! ^_^

And I'd be glad to pay whatever money's required to get to Hibernia if you'll tell me what the amount is. Unless somebody wants to make a new quest in the Outer Rim or something...

Crestierem - March 12, 2004 01:20 AM (GMT)
Well, the amount should be under "Ferryboat Bay" section. Under "The Realms" forum, the last one on the list, and just above "General Topics." ^_^ There should be the prices and how to's there as well.

So as far as money goes, we're operating on the honor system? I mean taking it out of our siggies and stuff.

Crestierem - March 14, 2004 05:06 AM (GMT)
Hm... I suppose we are. When it comes to our sigs anyways...and to my knowledge. But if we magically retrieve weapons, armor, or suddenly appear on another continent, then the admin/mods will probably give you a warning, saying you have to post this before you can do or have that.

If I'm incorrect, please feel free to correct me, because I'm not exactly sure if we're following the the honor system thing of our sigs, or if the admins/mods actually pay careful attention of our money.

Nah, that's about right. Pretty much we figure that anyone who would want to cheat while RPing must be pretty sad. However, if it were found out that someone had been purposefully cheating the system, I for one would come done pretty freaking hard on that person. Have a nice day! ^_^

Okay then. Well, that works with me....it's all in fun anyway! ^_^
