In order to start a duel, you must complete the following steps:

• Challenge someone in the Duel Challenges board in the OOC Section
• Once they accept, decide on the realm you're fighting in, what region (woods, desert, grasslands, town, castle courtyard, castle wall, etc.), and in what weather.
• Wait until a Dueling Admin or Dueling Mod comes and confirms your challenge (If no mod or admin confirms within 48 hours, you may PM them to remind them about your duel. You may find the duel mod or mods' name(s) under the title "Inter-Realm Duels" on the Board Index.
• Once the Duel Mod / Duel Admin approves of your duel, they will make your thread in the Inter-Realm Duels board, and you may begin fighting as soon as the thread is up.
• You may be in a duel and a quest at the same time.

There are rules posted in this board that tell you how to duel properly, and how you will be graded. The same rules generally apply to Tournaments as well. At the end of the duel, PM a Duel Mod / Admin and inform them that your duel is complete. Then they will come and grade your duel using the criteria listed in the thread that describes dueling rules.
