Background:
In a small town off the coast, a small house sat on top of a hill. This house contained a family of three elves. In this house there was the mother and father and their son, Chaos. Chaos was a boy who loved to be outside in nature with the animals. He would always get up early in the morning and stealthily follow along the edge of the river which led through the forest. As he came to a small opening in the forest, he saw many animals from all over, each sharing and drinking the water from the river. All the animals seemed to be as if in a family, protecting each other.
This seemed to spark an interest in Chaos, how animals helped each other survive by not always fighting for food. Two small deer then appeared out of the tall grass, both were badly wounded and seemed to be in much pain. Being an elf Chaos was skilled in the way of brewing up healing medicine from herbs that were all around. He quickly ran in, and while running in it must have looked like to the animals that Chaos was going to feast upon them. The animals with this reaction to the running made a straight line making sure he did not get to the baby deer.
"Unity will help you, but it could also make you fall," Chaos said under his breath as he redirected himself to a nearby tree where he saw mushrooms growing. He quickly plucked them, and then put his hand on the ground and gathered up soil and grass of all kind. A small apple then fell from the tree and Chaos also got that and ground it up with all the other herbs. He then made his way to the river and took a hand full of water making small drops go into the potion. He then stood up and closed his eyes and started to walk to the animals again. "Please let me through. I will not hurt you or any of the deer behind you. I just want to heal their wounds."
The animals must have felt the sadness and will to help in his heart for they soon moved out of the way revealing the two hurt ones. "Here take this, it may sting a little, but it is for your own health. The deer then cried and whined, but soon looked much better. The animals then surrounded chaos and licked him, for their payment. Chaos laughed as he saw the joy his help brought to the animals.
That night a terrible force came upon the land and set the village and forest on fire. Chaos saw the fire start and knew the animals would be in danger from the heat and maybe even die. "I cannot let this happen!" Chaos said as he picked up his Lance which he only used in dire emergencies. "Please help me save these animals, they are m friends," he said as he snuck out the back door of the house and started to sprint toward the forest.
When Chaos reached the edge, a large monster could be seen inside. This monster had wrangled up all the animals into one part of the forest where threes blocked every way, but the entrance out. All the animals he had met earlier were in there, and it seemed that the monster was about to kill them for it had a ball of fire in its hand. As Chaos stealthily got closer, he saw the monster was made of fire, well at least his interior was surrounded by fire. This was a hard thing to tell, but Chaos knew whatever it was he had to defeat it.
"You, Monster stop trying to hurt my friends before I have to do something drastic. I do not know what you are, nor do I care, but if you persist I will be forced to kill you," said Chaos as a fire wall surrounded the animals, and also between the trees fire spat up out of the ground and blocked Chaos in. With this the monster let out a tremendous roar that echoed for miles. This as just what Chaos needed for the villagers would have heard that and came running. "I just need to stall him for a few minutes, I hope I can do it," Chaos thought as he took his lance from its holder which was attached to his pack.
With his lance now out he pointed it toward the monster where the blade was laying down horizontally. Chaos now ready to attack began to run full speed at his opponent, and he felt his legs going faster and faster and the wing cutting against his face. As he saw himself get into range to attack his foe, he thought of instead of doing a normal attack on the beast that he would do a special one. With this in his mid, he implanted his blade into the ground and he jumped up pushing from the ground with his legs as hard as he could. The ground could now be seen below him as he slightly loosened his grip on the lance. As he saw his hand getting to the top of the lance, he tightened his grip. In doing this the lance was yanked from the soil. Chaos knew he needed to invert himself to an upright position which meant he would have to go from facing down, like in a handstand in the air, to standing upright in the air. With one quick flip it happened and by now Chaos was going back toward the ground and the monster. With seeing himself getting closer Chaos thirsted his lance toward the fiery monster. The monster, not being stupid saw Chaos in time to try and move out of the way. As the monster tried to sidestep as fast as he could it was too late. For Chaos had hit the monster's shoulder. The attack did minimal damage for the monster said nothing as the attack came down upon it, not a yelp or roar. The monsters hand then went above its head and came down striking the face of Chaos sending him flying into a tree.
This made Chaos almost unconscious, but he still had enough energy for another minute or so. As the minute passed, he heard the footsteps of his people coming toward the monster. " I stalled it long enough," Chaos said with his last amount of energy. Now he was unconscious and unaware of the gruesome deeds the monster had done, but he would soon find these out. Many hours later the elf awoke and noticed he was in the same spot he had been in earlier. He looked around to see the monster's tracks toward the city, and all along them were warriors and non warriors from the village. While getting up, Chaos saw his mother and father lying next to each other. A small tear came down his eyes as he saw that behind his parents were the animals, each looking as if they had protected one another before dying. " I wish I could have helped you mother and father, but I had to try and defeat this thing first. In the name of God I will hunt this monster down and destroy it.
Chaos then started to walk up the humongous hill where the remainder of his house was. Heaving up the hill with the small portion of energy he had left was hard work, but once he got to the top he wished he had never started up it. Peering at the village he saw no one alive at all. Children and elven friends dead on the streets with weapons in hand. Blood was everywhere and nothing looked real anymore. Chaos soon noticed that he was crying, tear after tear coming from his eye and then dripping of his shaking body. On the side of the village only a rose patch remained. Chaos then went about going through the city and forest and counting up every dead animal and person. After all was counted, he began digging holes on the outside of the village and placing one body in each. A month went by and finally the last body was placed inside its resting place for all eternity. After all this was done, Chaos went out and picked 973 roses from the small patch which had now grown into a garden. He placed each on a grave and then grabbed his lance off the side of a tree and placed it on his pack. " I shall leave you for now, but I shall return and rebuild our city and make the forest beautiful again." With everything completed Chaos started walking toward the outskirts of the city and started heading toward the next town.
Okay, just a few tiny problems. Just picky stuff mainly.
1) Your body doesn't wear the gloves, your hands do. Same goes for the Breastplate, your body wears those, not your hands. ^_^
2) Gunge lance, not Grudge lance.
3) Equipment, not Equiptment.
Just fix those minor errors and you'll be in. Once you've fixed them, please reply to this topic so I know and can give you your starting information. ^_^
Good job on your story btw.
XD sorry wasnt really paying attention
Edit: I am also doing grammar checker so please do not close because a little birdie told me a had a few mistakes.
Well... I'll leave it open if you *really* care. But you got in. :P
Since you're an Elvish Lancer, you start in the Outer Rim, in Lienthala. ^_^
