Rules are rules, must abide by them. I do for christs sake.. *Coughs, and shifty eyes.* Anyways, Character background Still needs to be longer. Maybe another paragraph or two, and you should be set. Make sure your grammar and spelling is good.

No Half-Elves? I'm sorry for speaking out of line, but that rule seems pointless.
But respecting the rules is what I do.
*Right Eye twitches* Spiffy?

The Skills Your Character Has:

Background On Your Character: Born to the Wulf Clan, a clan of Elves, and originally the Misfit of the clan due to his small stature and human-like weight, Bowen proved his worth on the battlefield after K.O.-ing all four of his older, and assumed better, siblings in the Night Trials.

He was then sent out into the world at as one of the many "Representatives" of the Wulf Clan. His only mission: Kill. He is responsible for many massacres, either giving information to opposing forces, starting landslides to take out mountain-traveling troops, or sometimes even building traps and executing the captives.

Never looking back, always moving forward, that is the way of a Wulf. Bowen always seemed to follow that standard, but deep down, he regretted every death he caused. Aroen, his mother, is the only person who understood how he was different from his siblings, and tried to keep him away from fighting. His father, Leigofin, protested that all of his sons, even one like Bowen, should follow in the footsteps of his ancestors. And so it was.

Bowen is many times found in the most unlikely of places, such as bushes by food storage, hiding on top of put-out fires where the ones who lost the battle are gotten rid of, and even in hollow trees sometimes. Bowen has been captured but once, by his own clan. He was released when they realised he was a Wulf, and has not fallen into a trap since.

Character Background needs to be longer, and make it "His only mission: Kill." Also, You cannot make up your own skill until you reach level 15, then you may make a P. Skill(Personal Skill.) Check the Rules, Regulations, and How To's for the levels skills may be obtained, and which skills.

Baerholn - December 22, 2003 07:02 AM (GMT)
Yup, Elither's exactly right. I'd just like to add a few things myself. First off, you can't start with the mythril-cloth mail. It sounds nice and spiffy, but all new characters have to start with the same equipment, so for a ranger that would be a leather breastplate. Also, no half-elves alowed. Sorry, this one isn't my call. It came up a while ago on the site, and Derhlith is the only half-elf around.

Elither Daegovad - December 22, 2003 07:05 AM (GMT)
Errr. My bad, I didn't notice those. Sorry. First time looking over registration. So yeah. Bowen, take a look at Rules, Regulations, and How To's to find out everything you need, alright?

Bowen Wulf - December 22, 2003 08:41 AM (GMT)
I abide by the rules, or try to, anyway, some places make up useless rules. <_<
It's a bit too late to write any stories.
It would be.. not very good.
so, i'll do it in the morning. ^_^

Derhlith - December 23, 2003 12:32 AM (GMT)
I commend Baerholn and Elither on their efforts. There are 2 things wrong still.

1) You start out with 3,000 Gold, not 0.

2) The Half-Elf rule was made up by me, mainly because if we had Half-(race)'s, then there would have to be classes for them, skills specially made for them, etc. And also there would be an overadundance of Half-(race)'s, too. It's just a hassle.

3) Story needs to be, not a few paragraphs longer, but several paragraphs longer. It should be a decent story from which your writing abilities may be adequately judged. ^_^

Bowen Wulf - December 23, 2003 02:01 AM (GMT)
:ph43r: = Bowen when he's found

Ok, I'll fix it as best i can, it may take a while though. Looks like it's time to get to work... Again.

Do you want me to use dialouge? I usually don't in backgrounds, but if it's a test of my writing abilities...

Elither Daegovad - December 23, 2003 03:36 AM (GMT)
Its starting to look better, but it still needs to be longer, Bowen. When we said more paragraphs, we meant more, not splitting the one you had into two or more, which it looks like you did.
