First off I'd like to apologize for the lack of work done to the forums themselves the past month. I was working on a website for Dark Isles up until last week when I recieved word that our host lost his service, so we lost ours. All the HTML and Image Editing I'd done is lost. So now I'm focusing on the forums once again to make up for the time lost on the website.

That said, there have been some changes.

Elither is now in charge of shops.

All other Admins have had their job loads increased in hopes of balancing out responsibilities, and in order to give them something to do.

The Hero Sets in Avalon have been updated. I'll begin working on other hero sets once I finish off the Magical Armor for the mage classes.

Finally, the Tournament of Champions Semi-Finals are about to begin. I've set up a temp for a friend of mine to add those to the Tourneys since I've neglected to ask Baerholn to do it. I'd rather his identity be kept secret, hence the use of a temp. That Administrative Identity will disappear after the Semi-Finals are set up. From then on it's up to Baerholn to do tournaments. So kudos to him. ^_^

So that's what's going on right now. When all other jobs are done I figure work on the Backstory will continue since I've neglected that for a long time, now. Please keep activity up. I know the site looks kinda dreary at the moment, and updates are slow and not very noticable. But we're going to be trying, and your support is much appreciated.

Now that I'm no longer sick (or at least not sick enough to be bedridden). I've done some minor alterations.

Two weeks ago I added to the Backstory, hopefully people've noticed by now. Also I noticed the Beast Ranch stuff had 'disappeared', so I just pinned those topics today so they wont do that anymore.

I'm also considering a lottery (thanks to Baerholn) or a cash allotment (screw spelling right now, head hurts) since everything is so expensive. But I need to discuss it with the other Admins first.

So that's all that's new for now, more updates to come. ^_^



NEW: Oh. And if you have any complaints or questions about any perticular area of DI, like what can or cannot be posted in the General Discussion, what kind of 'advertising' in the GD is permissable, etc. Please look at the names underneath each separate forum. There the name(s) person / people who are in charge of that specific board will be listed. Please disregard the group "The Watchers" because that's the group for ROOT Admins, and thus are on every board.

The point is, ask the person or people listed in charge of that board. Or if you need anything done in your guild, a topic to be pinned, deleted, w/e. Ask Asura, since he's in charge of the guild boards.

The Tournament Semi-Finals ends on Wednsday of next week! So be prepared! ^_^ The finals should be up by the 21st of December. I apologize once again for the delay.

NEWSFLASH!!!:

New Updates are underway as the Administration is coming to some agreements on policies and classes and such. So be on the lookout for new boards, new classes, new extras, among other things! And above all, keep the activity up, it's a good motivator to get work done on the site! ^_^

Okay, I'm making a small adjustment to the Saviors rule, until I have time to get that going again.

If at any time Saviors *STOPS*, those who participate may go and quest in their respective realms and gain rewards from those quests until the story resumes.

And for the time being, until we get more members and a higher rate of activity, those in Saviors may also quest outside Saviors simultaneously to ensure activity stays high. ^_^

So Valcrist and Asura, you're free to quest in your realms until we get more people to sign up.

And Asura... there's someone in Hybernia who you could adventure along with. ^_^

Ok, I'll be on it in a few days - busy with the holiday season and whatnot. It's going to be good to be posting IC again. :)

Sweet. I hope Saviors makes its way to Outer-Rims though.. I wanna see if I have I'll be in it. If not, then hey. But it needs to come to Outer-Rims! =P Anyways. Good that so much activity is happening lately. I was getting severely nervous about DI's future for a bit there.

The Ferry system is finally up and running as promised. This is going to accompany a large-scale alteration in stores and realms. Don't worry, though, it shouldn't affect your quests at all.

And some good news for your wallets: With the realm alteration will come a drop in store prices. The prices were originally so high to keep people from getting the best stuff right away. But now with the level restrictions on equipment, it's easier to manage that and thus the high prices are obsolete. So pretty soon all the prices in the shops will deflate, along with some other surprises.
