Okay, there are going to be some changes around here, mostly for the better - perhaps some not so, but we'll see how it goes.
First of all, I may be contracting a guy who knows CSS to change the color scheme and images on the site. Since it is made using CSS coding, and not HTML, I am unable to do it myself (and I am unwilling to take the time and learn CSS to do it myself). I may have found a person who is capable of doing it, as he has demonstrated on his own InvisionFree site.
Along with that is a website. The new scheme for the Forums will match the Website, which will be up soon. Though in its primitive stage the site is going to look terrible, I'll hope to rectify that by mid-to-late November.
For those of you curious about where the site will be hosted, I've found a friend of mine who's willing to give me webspace. For now the address is:

I'm going to work really hard to get the website up before December, and try to get it on a search engine like Google or Yahoo, probably both. If you guys can suggest some smaller search engines or Forum RPG directory sites, I'll gladly submit it to them as well, once it's up. I'm looking to have the actual
OPENING of Dark Isles by the New Year. Sure you all say "but it's open now." And it is. However, most of you were asked by an Admin to join, or you found this place by word of mouth, communicated by a friend. When I say open, I mean to totally random people across the net. I'm working with Elither Daegovad on Advertising with other sites, while I will be trying to get the Site address and Forum Address up onto search engines and directories to hopefully increase membership.
Around the time of the Return of the King release, I'm hoping to attract more people to the site merely on the grounds that it's very "Lord of the Rings"-esque. So I'm going to be really busy with the site for a while, trying to get things up and organized. If you PM me or AIM me with questions or what not, and I don't answer - I'm probably busy working on site-related stuff. If you bother me and I snap back at you, don't take it personally. I'm trying to work and don't really like to be disturbed, especially after disregarding you once or twice already. If you REALLY have a question that just CANT WAIT, PM or AIM another Admin, and if they can't answer it for you, they may feel free to bug me about it.
On a final note: If you have or know of any sites that would be willing to advertise Dark Isles, please give Elither a heads up. He's helping me out a lot by trying to find advertisers for us. Just PM him or whatever with the name of the site, their URL, and possibly who he should talk to about Advertising, if you know whom to talk to.
