Title: Nodel Leshere
Description: Marionette of Time

Nodel - September 23, 2003 09:09 PM (GMT)
Name: Nodel Leshere
Age: 25
Height: 5' 10"
Weight: 123
Eye Color: Goldish Brown
Hair Color: Black
Element: Wind
Class: Mage
Level: 1
Gold: 3,000
Equipment: Oak Staff (Wielded in right hand.), Black Hood (Head Armor), Silver Ring (Hand Armor), Black Robes (Body Armor), and Leather Boots (Leg Armor)

Appearance: Nodel is a very frail young man, who appears to be rather feminine in appearance. In fact he looks as though he really wouldn't stand much of a chance in a physical fight, even against the weakest warrior. His skin is a very light cream color, almost as white as the beautiful eastern style robes he wears. The tips of the sleeves, neck, and along the bottom of the robe are all accented in a sparkling golden trim. The robe opens along each side along the legs to reveal the pair of baggy white breeches he wears. Along with his robe...his shoes and the sash around his waist are also white keeping in style with the rest of his attire. Nodel's long black hair reaches past his waist by a bit which only adds to his appearance.

Personality: Nodel strives to be elegant, respectful, as well as considerate in everything he does. He is always willing to help a stranger and would gladly risk his own life in order to save another. Nodel tends to rely on his wisdom rather than strength, although he tends to stay quiet during arguments. He is for the most part a kind young man, however that is outside of battle. When he is in battle he will do what has to be done to achieve a goal, and he will back his allies up with all of the strength he can gather. He considers any friends he acquires to be worth fighting and dying for, and he knows that he might have to do that to not only prove his loyalty but also his worth as a magic user. Of course like anyone else there are times when Nodel enjoys having fun. However for the most part he tends to stay on the more calm and polite side.

Background: "In time, we are all reborn. We are sent to new realms, to take on new missions as an entirely different being." a voice echoes throughout the area, which is at the moment entirely black.

"For nothing lasts forever, eventually I too will die. And we will meet once more in a new realm. Together, again. Our friendship, our suffering, our minds all bond us together." the voice adds once more. The area now becomes filled with light, a powerful breeze being born in the process.

"How...odd...I keep having that same dream. The same voice speaks to me." Nodel says to himself looking down upon his village. The young man stands upon a hillside under a tree surrounded by a mass of beautiful flowers. The wind blows across the hill causing the flowers to sway back and fourth in unison with the leaves of the tree. Nodel's long black hair flows to the side, a few strands flickering before his eyes. He grips the basket of food he holds in his hands and begins to walk down the hill toward the village. Upon reaching the edge of the village a few young children run up to him tugging at his robe. They all appear to be rather poor, but still happy as ever. "Hey Nodel! Got any new stories you want to tell us?" one boy asks smiling to the young man. Nodel laughs a bit and nods patting the boy on the head.

"If it's okay with your parents I have a wonderful story for you children tonight. It's about a terrible demon name Deminio! There are brave warriors in the story too, and even a few gods and goddesses!" he says watching as the faces of the children light up. "But right now it's lunch, so each of you take a loaf of bread to your parents. Go home to your parents and then we can all listen to the story, okay?" he adds lowering the basket and allowing each of the children to take a loaf of bread. Nodel smiles gently and walks off toward his home allowing the children to run off to their own homes. At last he reaches his house and opens the door slowly looking around. He slides his shoes off by the door and walks into the house setting the basket down on a table in the kitchen. He then sits down at the table resting his head on his arms and stares off into space.

A sharp pain could be felt in the back of his head as he then fell forward onto the table screaming in pain. He then stood up kicking the chair back into the wall, causing it to shatter into pieces. As he fell to the ground the pain stopped, it was then that he looked up to see the children all gathered around the door staring at him. "Is that you...?" he mutters before falling forward onto the ground.

4 years later...

A figure covered in a white robe walks slowly through a forest, looking to his left and right for a moment. He then pulls the hood of the outfit back taking a better look around. "I must find somewhere to rest tonight...I have been traveling for so long. I keep wondering what it is I am expecting to find. Something, or someone keep sending me forward in my journey..." he mumbles to himself walking on into the forest. Nodel was now wandering throughout the realm, in search of answers. Little did he know he would soon come face to face with his own enigmatic visions. For now though he continued on, hoping to make contact with someone...anyone before it got too dark.

((Note: Okay so it's not your traditional background. It told more of a story and is a bit long. I apologize for that, anyway from that I hope you could gather a few things. Nodel is a mage from a village who has since left the village in search of answers from the visions he has from time to time. ^_^))

Once again Nodel, you never cease to amaze me. Congratulations, and welcome to Dark Isles

Obviously, I think you get it: you're a mage, therefore you originate in Avalon.
