The only visible scar is the large one that starts at the forehead, covering the right eye and is lost in his beard.

Background: Durin's Dwarven family stayed far from the troubles of elves and man alike for many generations. Staying locked away in the Grey Mountains of the Outer Rim. Long they mined the mountains for the precise minerals and ores to create items, weapons, armor, etc. They heard little of what went on outside of they're mountain range until Durin came along. He was the only one of them curious about the outside world, eventually leaving his family behind. He never looked back while he left the mines, losing the direction and path that he would take if ever wanting to return, so to guard his family if the world seemed cruel. He also was the only one of his family that was curious about other races and found no problem in befriending them.

OOC: I used the name of the mountains from LoTR's because I was lazy and I didn't know if they already did have names. It seems to me there really isn't much history or location for the dwarves...I'm confused on what guild I should join or rather qualify to join too.

Yeah, that's my fault on the Dwarves' part. Originally this project was to pretain mainly to Men, and slightly to Elves. Dwarves were kind-of just... there. Once I finish the Main Backstory, I'm going to try and write more detailed histories of the Dwarves and Elves specifically. But the bulk of Dark Isles' plot has to do with the main Backstory - the wars, etc. Which is why I've spent so much time on those instead of the individual races.

Oh, and you're accepted - good job. New Dwarf! =D

Welcome to Dark Isles! ^_^
